Mary (and group) seem very dedicated to getting a safe secure car/truck to you. She tries to save you money when she can. They don't trust old rubber (tires, hoses), and recommend replacement to be safe. I took in my daughters Subaru, my wife's Hyundai, my Toyota, and the emergency Jeep. I feel confident, and comfortable with Tanguays.

Tanguay's Ramona Truck and Auto in Ramona. I had a problem with sporadic misfiring on my Jeep last week. I think we got it fixed. They are very good. If they something wrong they don't fight you over it. If something goes bad they will fix it. They warranty their work well. I have probably spent $20,000 over the past four or five years. This last visit was $222. We had to change out the distributor which I already had. One of the injectors. The labor was about $80 and the distributor was $127. I have been working with the same mechanic and we were hoping it would fix the problem and it has. Cars are tough nuts to crack. The mechanic is very knowledgable, does very good work. He is a young kid, he's the son of the owner. I like him. I always make sure I get him because he does know what he's doing. He rebuilds transmissions, he rebuilds engines, anything that has to be done I've seen him doing it.

They know what they are doing. They don't do work that they feel is unnecessary. They also stand behind their work. One time they worked on the transmission in my truck and they had to replace the converter inside the transmission. They had a situation where after I picked it up, the next day it leaked some fluid. At their expense they purchased a rubber more secure gasket to put in. Then it didn't leak on them. After I picked it up that time, it leaked again. So again at their expense they bought another one and put it in. They wanted to make sure it was perfect. So they did it until it was right.
