SDG&E shut off my gas service in my residence due to suspicion of gas leaks. Called first plumber company to inspect, then ended up having to contact a leak detection company to determine where the flow of gas direction in the lines were. Decided to get a second estimate, and came across great reviews for Rooter Man Plumbing, so I decided to contact them. Got a speedy response from Christine in the office, then received an appointment with Eric (the Owner) for assessment and estimate. Eric showed up on time, was extremely knowledgeable and very professional, then later provided me a good estimate for installation of new gas lines/rerouting from gas meter to stove, laundry room, water heater, and HVAC unit. Also, provided me a good estimate (after recommending) to replace my fifteen year old 40 gallon natural gas water heater. Eric, Jose, Luis, and Chandler were fantastic, and very professional throughout the job. After the whole job was performed...Eric came out to do quality control. One small item was overlooked, but it was addressed immediately. Overall, my experience with Rooter Man Plumbing was extremely positive and top-notch from beginning to end! They saved me a lot of money, the customer service, professionalism, and workmanship was excellent, and I appreciated the honesty of the owner's advise. I highly recommend them! :)

Fantastic, Luis identified the source was a faulty shower valve. Helped us identify the part, confirm warranty details, and order the part. Sent us a link in email for the instructions for replacing the faulty cartridge. Thus, saving us money. Was very professional, prompt, expeditious, and effective.

This company is the real deal. For the initial visit Alex came out and spent a ton of time discussing all things plumbing, checking out my issues, diagnosed and adjusted my water pressure regulator for free, and then finally provided a estimate for a new water heater. He eagerly answered all of my questions (and then some!) and was incredibly friendly and the dude really knows his stuff. The estimate was average with the other estimates I got so we hired them to do the job. Two guys came out and installed the water heater is short order. They were also very cool and pretty entertaining actually. All said and done we got a new water heater and it's been one month since we got it and everything is working just fine. Job was done quickly, professionally, and the area cleaned after... they're pros. And just to make note, the water heater was a Bradford White 50 gal. I'm very glad I gave this company my business, and glad I found them because now they'll be doing all our plumbing for us.

Everything went great. I couldn't be happier with their service, and will use them again in the future. I've already referred them to my mom for her plumbing needs.

Original installers of my power vent water heater didn't connect a exhaust hose properly & Alex Gomez found a small gas leak as well that caused fumes in my garage. He had lots of knowledge that he shared & did a GREAT job !!!

Brian was on time, the service was reasonable priced.

Brian arrived on time and ready to work. He had to remove a garage sink which was in the way in order to complete the work. He installed the above components and the new 50 gal Water Heater including code upgrades. When complete he returned the sink and installed in back where it was and then cleaned up everything and was done. I'm very satisfied with this company and their responsiveness. A job well done. Brian was honest, straightforward and did good work.

The plumber was on time, courteous and efficient. He explained what he was doing and then quickly started working. The job was completed.

Brian arrived on time and immediately went to work.  He was friendly and explained what the work would entail.  He replaced the soldered faucet with a threaded one so I can replace it if needed in the future.  He did the requested work and did not try to sell additional work.  After the work was completed, he did not do a final test, and after he went to his truck to leave, I noticed the top of the faucet was leaking a little.  Leaking was the reason for replacing the old faucet.  I caught him before he left, he apologized for not doing a final test, and gladly came back in and tightened the upper joint, which alleviated the leak.  The service fee was reasonable as I got an Angie's List Big Deal.  Most other places would have charged at least a third more.

Overall, it was a good experience and  would use the company again.

Our main sewer line from the house to the street was clogged, causing both toilets and shower to back up.  A friend and contractor recommended Brockmire Plumbing Services; we observed their work when he subcontracted them to finish a bathroom renovation, and we had them install a whole-house water filtration system withe which we were satisfied.  My call to Brockmire Plumbing was promptly answered, and they sent a plumber to our house later the same day.  He observed that the house plumbing did not have the clean-outs now required by code, but he was able to employ a clean out he found under the house - which was less than ideal. He managed to get a sewer snake into the pipe and the teeth of the snake were bent when it it a solid obstruction, about 15' from the house he thought.  A camera was employed, but the results were not conclusive, since the pipe could not be cleared of waste, since the snake was prevented by solid blockage.  Then he employed a radar-type device that was able to find the location of the obstruction, and said that they'd be back tomorrow to cut the concrete at that location, if we agreed to the price that was quoted, which I recall was around $3,000.00.  Early the next day, Brockmire Plumbing returned with a concrete saw, and cut away the poured concrete and red brick driveway at that section, dug by hand though soil to the crumbled and deteriourated cast iron sewer pipe.  Once the pipe was exposed at that small section, I was offered three options: 1) they would replace just that 2-3 ft section of sewer pipe for about $4,000.00; 2) they would replace all the cast iron from that location to the City of San Diego clean out for about $7200.00; or 3) they would completely replace the pipe from under the house to the City's clean out, installing three (3) more cleanouts (two of which are directional) for $9965.00.  We chose #3, and they began work that day, and returned the next day with three employees who worked until the line was finished, and sewer use was restored to our bathrooms.  Then they filled the cut section with the dirt that they removed, added more soil from bags to top up the trench, and their best to compact and level the dirt surface.  The owner came and directed things on the final day, and gave me some suggestions on resurfacing that area of the driveway that remains now unpaved.  He left a landscapers "waddle" in the trench to prevent erosion from the rain.  I appreciate the fast action by Brockmire Plumbing to restore our sewer service. They were punctual, rendered a professional product, and did it in a timely manner.  I really can't say if their charges were more than others would charge, which is why I rated them a "Good" on price.  I do know I was not in position to look for a bargain, and needed the sewer restored ASAP and done neatly and professionally.  I'm satisfied, and would not hesitate to use them again.

The technician came over, inspected the toilet and bathroom plumbing fixtures and flushed the water heater. ( i didn't watch him flush the water heater , but assumed he did). My toilet was running and he told me he would charge me $225 to "practically" rebuild the toilet. I thought that was very high and talked him down to $200. When he said he was partially rebuilding the toilet I thought was going to be a pretty sizable job and he would be at my house for a while. He completed the job in "10" minutes. I believe the Angie's list deal is a come on to get in the door and then put it to an unsuspecting customer. In other words he took advantage of me. I've since checked aith otehr plumbers and they've said the same.
