Overall experience was terrible. As work began it became apparent that they did not have a clear idea how to accomplish the job. This required us as homeowners to constantly supervise and instruct, or else they would just go off and do things incorrectly. They decided to change the irrigation plan from 8 valves to 15 valves without consulting us, and expected to be paid for the additions. They failed to till the soil before installing sod, and failed to correct the problem. The drainage they installed was inadequate to solve the existing drainage problems. They damaged the driveway and front landscaping. 30 working days after their contracted finish date, they were only 75% done, and work had stalled because they had taken on additional jobs. When they could not give an acceptable completion date, we fired them. Their final bill was $8000 over the original 28k estimate. In the end, we paid more than the estimate, took twice the time, and got 75% of the work done.
