I called in my request. The technician who would be coming out wasn't in the office at the time, but he was contacted and he called back shortly and made an appointment to come out the next day, giving a 2-hour time window. He missed it by about ten minutes, but not a problem to me.
I was prepared for the worst: the HVAC is over 12 years old. But the technician did a thorough analysis and found there was only one problem -- a leaking pressure valve that had allowed enough freon to leak out and cause the unit to shut down. He gave me a firm estimate and I gave him the OK to proceed. He phoned in an order for the replacement valve and thermostat.
He was able to come back two days later and completed the repair and the installation of the thermostat.at. I also got a pleasant surprise. Because the leaking valve had shut the system down over two years ago, the technician assumed all the freon had leaked out. But it hadn't - only about half - reducing the cost by $350!

They came out right away when our washing machine wouldn't drain. They ordered a part and as soon as it came in they came out right away to fix it. They are punctual, they said they would come between 11 and 1 and they were here at 11. They were reasonably priced.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL. THE technician WAS FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HIS WORK. HE WAS EARLY FOR HIS APPOINTMENT WHICH WAS UNUSUAL FOR A REPAIRMAN.
