This process is such a long story, but suffice it to say that it took us well over 3 months to finally find a glass company that could match the new sliding glass door we had installed this past September. We finally contracted with Firehouse Glass and they were great. They came out and measured and took several necessary steps to make sure the door was an exact match to the one in the family room. After matching it, they gave us an estimate which came in $600 lower than the first door, including upgrading the screen to a pet-friendly screen. It took about 3 weeks for the door to come in and they came out and installed it just as promised. They were friendly, professional, and really wanted to do a good job. The trim didn't completely match, so they did another reorder and came out the next week to put the interior trim on and caulk. The door is beautiful and matches perfectly. The original door came with the house and was just awful, so anything would have been an improvement, but this new sliding glass door definitely exceeded all our expectations. We will be working with Firehouse Glass in the near future to replace all the windows in our home. Whatever you do, DON'T go with Renewal by Anderson. Call Firehouse Glass first!! What a great experience from beginning to end.
