I would prefer the plants be hand trimmed and not "whacked". As for the sprinklers...he occasionally turns on the front sprinklers and as long as they turn on, he doesn't always check to see the coverage. He never turns on the sprinklers in the back yard, even after frequently reminding him. When a sprinkler blows out and he is notified, he will not come out to do repairs. He will do the repair the next visit, so there is sometimes more than 10 days that I have to turn off the sprinkler system and hand water. I am in my 70's and have some health problems, so hand watering is not always possible. I think the work is very good, with the exception of the sprinkler issue and with the water issues here in San Diego, the sprinklers should be the top priority.

 Wayne started cutting our lawn and various landscaping activities way back at the end of 1998 when we leased our house out and moved to Santa Barbara for a few years. Even though we weren't here to supervise the work was excellent. We moved back here in 2002 so this is about a 16 year relationship. His work is excellent, he is totally reliable and really good guy. Highly recommended, you won't do better.

They clean up after their work. They also mow and edge the lawn on a property I own across the street. They do a good job, I wouldn't keep them if they didn't.
