I reviewed over 30 solar installers before selecting Rancho Solar.
Their small size initially deterred me.  Instead, being small means much better service and products.  
I worked directly with the owner, rather than a sales person.  He was very clear about the pros and cons about options for solar on our house.  When I asked to review documents before signing, he was totally open and provided everything I requested.  Their proposal was clear and short.
Several of the potential companies sent out technicians to "inspect before purchase".  Rancho Solar technicians were definitely more knowledgeable and professional.
The quoted price was significantly lower than others, for comparable equipment!
Installation was fast!  We went on a two week vacation, then switched the system on, when we came back.
Equally important, the installation is top-class.  Here are some examples: They directly wired the inverter's datacard to my router, instead less reliable wifi.  They crawled under our to hide a wire.  They painted their conduit, etc. with exactly the color of our wall.  And much more.

The price depends on the size of the solar panels you get. It was quite a big-priced number. The owner who showed us the solar panels was wonderful. He was always there. He calls back when I ask him to call back because I had some questions. He set the appointment. They came out and they did the work. They showed the work to us and made sure it was done the right way. They did everything really well. We could not be more pleased. I would recommend them if anybody calls.
