Went very well. Good Meile dealer; knows a lot. Good price (considering it is Meile :-). Also tried out the SEBO carpet cleaning system he sells. Unique system, is faster and way easier on carpets compared to water-based systems IMO. Uses a 'powder', and brush machine. Worked very well on my old nasty carpet, which was a surprise. Recommended.

What a blessing these folks are! My $700 Dyson vacuum lost suction all of the sudden and I couldn't figure out why. I took my vacuum to their shop and they replaced filters, broken pieces and also did a thorough cleaning of my vacuum. It works just as well as the day I got it! I'm so thankful that they were able to fix my vacuum so I wouldn't have to purchase another one!

I dropped off the broken parts at the shop and picked up fixed ones 2 days later. Russ is always helpful, cheerful, honest, reliable, knowledgeable and professional. It is a pleasure doing business with an outstanding shop!

It was friendly service and quick turnaround. They gave me a quote right away and called me once they were able to take a look at it and tell me what was wrong with it and how much it would cost before they did the work. When I was ready to pick up, they let me know and it was easy.

It worked, and a few months later when it failed again, I returned to Poway Sewing and Vacuum to purchase a new vacuum. The machine they recommended has exceeded my expectations.

Some spinners weren't spinning and we needed the vac quickly to get ready for a party we were having in a few days. They completed the job in the time frame and charged a reasonable price. On a side note, I loved the "family" feel of the place. There were two sweet doggies in the back, and these people treated the place like it was their home away from home. I felt that this was a family business and well loved. I would definitely come back.

I brought the vacuum in to Poway Sewing and Vacuum. Steve took a look and said that it might be on its last legs given its age and condition but that he would look at it and let me know. He called the next day and said it was only a faulty cord and that I could pick it up the next day. I picked it up the next day...It looked like a new vacuum. Steve had cleaned it and replaced the cord.

I took my vacuum cleaner to Poway Sewing and Vacuum Center on a Saturday morning. The store was busy but someone helped me right away. They showed me where the parts underneath were getting overheated/blackened (hence the odor) and where the fan belt had snapped. They recommended a servicing in addition to the new fan belt, which I readily agreed to. They could have had the unit ready in 2 days, but I told them the following Saturday would be fine. The cost I paid was for the servicing, the fan belt, and a large set of new bags. Both employees I spoke with expressed sympathy regarding Abe's death and best wishes to his widow who is unable to keep the Mira Mesa vacuum store going. The vacuum cleaner works great now, with no odor!

The service man was punctual, clean, very polite and very knowledgeable about the BEAM central vac that needed to be serviced. They were 50% cheaper than the other company that I had contacted for a quote and I couldn't be happier with their service. I also visited their store in person and it was well stocked with supplies and the counter help was very friendly and efficient. They did an excellent job!

I FEEL LIKE THIS PLACE COSTS TOO MUCH. IT IS HARD TO SPEND $30 TUNING UP YOUR VACUUM WHEN IT ONLY COST $200. REGARDING THE BELT, ONE TIME I WENT IN AND THEY ONLY CHARGED ME $2. ANOTHER TIME SOMEONE ELSE CHARGED ME $7. I FINALLY REALIZED YOU CAN JUST BUY A BELT AND IT IS VERY SIMPLE TO REPLACE IT. I DON'T KNOW OF ANY OTHER PLACE IN POWAY SO I'M STUCK GOING THERE.

SERVICE CALL PRICING LOWER THAN OTHER VACUUM COMPANIES WE CHECKED. VERY RESPONSIVE AND REPAIRED THE SYSTEM IMMEDIATELY. THEIR RETAIL STORE ALSO HAS A WIDE VARIETY OF ATTACHMENTS AVAILABLE IF NEEDED.
