We first began using Generation Contracting at the recommendation of USAA after we had a water flood in 2010. They did an INCREDIBLE JOB restoring and repairing our home after about $75,000 in water damage. We liked them so much we've hired them voluntarily three times since then to: 1) Remodel our master bathroom suite 2) Remodel our guest bathroom suite 3) And this month to repair water damage from a roof leak. Generation Contracting is simply the BEST! I highly recommend them with a 5-Star Review, times the 4 times we've hired them to fix and upgrade our home. Generation Contracting did a fabulous job. They were quick, knew their jobs, and matched paint and tile exactly. The reconstructed shower is even prettier that the original. The kitchen cabinets matched the existing cabinets exactly.

Generation Contracting provided the most professional home repair service that I have ever experienced! This job started as a insurance claim under USAA insurance for the leaked caused by a neighbor's faulty hot water heater. Generation Contracting was one of only a few preferred provider of restoration services for USAA in the San Diego County area. When talking with USAA insurance, they mentioned that Generation Contracting was their only provider that did not have any complaints. The scope of the job was large since the water damage took out the entire kitchen, all of the flooring, part of the roofing, and a large section of drywall in the living room/dinning room. The drying and demolition process was completed by another company. Our experience with Generations started with the estimate process. Their quote for the work was at or better than the other 4 companies that we had requested estimates from. After the estimate process, they were highly reasonable in their pricing after we decided to upgrade many of the items in the condo above the builder grade items that were damaged. We received great deals on the cabinets and drywall work. As contractors, they are highly knowlegeable and will provide good recommendation on what or what not to do during the renovations. In every large job, there will be some minor issues that will arise. All of our issues in this job was caused by some of the subcontractors, and Generation Contracting was always highly responsive in correcting the issues. They also took care of any problems at a standard higher than expected. Their standards for work is higher than almost every contractor or repair business. All inquiries were handled almost immediately and sometimes after working hours if needed. When I changed the project towards the end of the process, Generation was highly reasonable and professional with the cost of the additional work orders generated by the change. They were also very upfront with all the recommendations and the cost of each of the options provided. Their billing was highly professional as it was handled by a full time employee at their offices. I will definitely higher or recommend Generation Contracting for any work that I need done in the San Diego area.

The Generation workers were professional, came when they said they would, and worked to make the kitchen look like it did before the flood. They did an excellent job.

Generation Contracting was on time with their estimate and completely professional through all stages of the job. I felt their pricing was very fair, and hired them to remodel the store within the interior of the office building. All the wokers that were in our building were very concious of our need to still be open during business hours and took the time to use plastic sheet barriers to reduce the spread of dust and keep the noise as low as possible. All subs were on time, polite, and had their jobs done in the estimated timeline. The project manager from Generation made numerous trips to inspect the work and be available for any questions or concerns. Only one issue occured with the plastering of the drywall, and when I brought it up to the project manager, he had it replastered and corrected immediately. The job would have been completed before the estimated completion date if not for this small plaster repair. I was completely happy with the results and would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to another company or resident.
