Well run practice. Great medical care for complicated diagnoses. Everyone I know who has been there recommends too.
Especially good at email follow up and responsiveness.
Given the location, I was expecting much higher prices but they are actually cheaper than the "name" places in other towns on the Peninsula.

We had several visits for examination/consultation ($75) with Lawrence Wengren DVM and a subsequent surgery removing a skin cancer in the groin area of our dog (about $550) including anesthesia, without overnight stay. Surgery went well, healed well and our dog likes Lawrence and does not mind going to the clinic .
On a different occasion a recent consultation and quote ($65) for a different surgery with Jessica Christiansen, DVM (Lawrence Wendgren was on vacation) we found her very professional, competent and thorough. She was open minded (and familiar) with alternative treatments and gave us wise advice.
In the past 10 years we had multiple consultations and treatments with half a dozen veterinary clinics for our (very courageous and active) dog and we felt we had the best experience with Village Square Veterinary Hospital at a reasonable price.

They have a very friendly staff. I have had numerous dogs and have taken them there for the last fifteen years. They are excellent at diagnosing if something is wrong with your pet. For me they are very conveniently located. My dogs always love going there. They work well with the animals.

Our local vet has taken care of our animals for several years. Compared to other vets that we have visited they are willing to do as much or as little investigation as you would like. The well being of the animal is first, but they help to work within your budget.
