Excellent. That's how arborist. We've used them for years and continue to rely on them. I think it was just to prune a tree.

Jeoff came and told us to save our Blenheim apricot tree. He told us about Tussock moths that were on our fruit trees, about their habitat, what to do. A less honest person would have removed the tree. Also our neighbor has used McClenahan for years and recommended then to us. Carol Mountain View

They've been fantastic and we were really pleased with their service. He came out immediately and gave a very fair bid. He was very easy to talk to, very patient, and educational. He sent one of his technicians come out and evaluate every single tree on the property free of charge. Then he wrote up a list of trees that needed immediate attention and gave us the report. SP McClenahan then came out and tended to couple of our magnolias and they did a lot of work free of charge, which was really nice.

They were fine. They were here when they said they'd be and they gave me the estimate when they said they would. They were professional. They looked at what had to get done and made suggestions. Actually, we hired them and they're coming out on the 22nd. They gave the estimate at least the day after they showed up. They were fine all the at through.

McClenahan had a longer history and seem to be actually a little cheaper on the pruning and I think it is because McClanahan has the equipment to get people up on a chair into the trees and Oscar got his people to climb up. McClanahan, have been around for a very long time with a reputation will people always say yes for them. The trees would start from my yard and go across the street. I used them because, I asked Mister McClanahan to come over and look at the trees in my former house and he was the one who noticed the clank on the tree and said you really need to have them tested or taken down and it looks like it has two clanks and probably it will be taken down. Their price for taking it down was expensive, and that is why I had used Oscar the first time. This time McClanahan was cheaper on pruning then Oscars price, but he seemed to know these trees through long experience in this area. They were quite responsive and they did the job and I'm really pleased with the way the trees look. It is hard to know that they were pruned at all, but when you look at them they look great. I might have got those trees pruned cheaper, Oscar had been cheaper at a reasonable price on the tree removal in my old house and then the other two trees in my new house, including the whole yard cleanup. So when McClanahan came he was cheaper on the pruning. I was really nervous about these trees. A lot of value of the house depends on the trees, so I really wanted to make sure that the job was done well and he really did a good job.

It always goes well with McClenahan's. A great professional company. I have counted on them for years for care of my half of a large live oak tree and for the spraying/soil treatment of one crabapple that suffers powdery mildew and a flowering crabapple that has started to suffer from leaf anthracnose that makes the leaves look lie they are burned. Someone from the company diagnosed the leaf condition last summer and recommended an early spring spraying which the company did this year for the first time. The spraying went as planned and the tree shows no sign of the anthracnose at this point so I am very happy.

They did an excellent job.
They worked quickly and efficiently, all day long, and got the job done well in time. They accommodated our special requests with a smile. They cleaned up the entire work site (all around the house, the street in front of the house etc).

S.P. McClenahan Company is really good. Their price was competitive. I was so worried about the underlying bushes but there was no damage. They carefully brought the cherry pickers in and took the tree down. It was great. There were no problems. They were very confident and careful in their work. I also know that they are bonded and insured company; one sure wants to have that. I would use them again in the future.

They did a really good job. They removed a big limp on my oak tree. It was several pounds. They also trimmed up another tree and some branches the same tree. They also cut up the big tree into firewood. The owner really knows what he is doing. He is very professional.
