Description of Work
I called different plumbers until I found one that was available immediately. Quick-Rooter said they could have someone at my hour in a half-hour. The plumber assessed the problem, a broken pipe in my back yard, then he left the property to go get parts, returned over a half-hour later and fixed the broken pipe. Total time on-site, including his departure for parts, was 70 minutes. The bill was almost $400. One hour of labor and $10 worth of PVC does not equal $400 in my book.

Very well. We thought we had a water leak causing a sink hole. Quik Rooter came out very quickly, dug up the area in question, found no leaks, and repaired the damaged area. All in less than 2 hrs.

The guy was nice and I am sure he would have done whatever I asked and he may have just been trying to help keep my bill down. Anyway, my problem was solved.

Overall the problem was corrected quickly, therefore I am satisfied. Main line to city sewer was blocked. It took longer to set-up and clean-up than actual task. For the sake of review and as constructive criticism I would offer the following observations. Price quoted over the phone by dispatch was less than price charged onsite. Plumber was a nice guy and did a good job but it was obvious he wasn't enthusiastic about getting involved in any other issues I was having with other plumbing. He gave advice and offered to take a look if I wanted but it seemed more out of obligation and he was ready to go. When he arrived he said if roof vents needed snaking I was basically out of luck because he didn't like getting on roofs due to a previous accident. I wasn't affected by the negatives so they don't factor into my review.

This company is awesome. We called them Friday Late morning and he gave me a price right on the phone. The price was very reasonable. I asked if he could possibly accommodate us for that day since the homeowner is elderly and it would be a hardship for the toilet to be out of commission. He moved his entire schedule around and drove all the way to Terra Bella to make sure the job was done that day. He did not even add an emergency service fee or a fuel fee. He was so good we had him install our new toilet for a nominal additional charge and we could not be happier. They were very professional, courteous, and pleasant, not to mention quick. I would recommend them to my family, friends, and anyone else who needs a plumber.

Relocated the floor hole for the toilet 2" further from the wall to accommodate a standard toilet.

It was alright but it was awfully expensive for the time they were here. Probably a lot of it was the fact that it was after-hours. They were prompt and they were polite, but it was a lot of money. He just assumed that the line needed to be replaced. He didn't even have a camera down that line. They were out here in no time and they were very kind.

We thought our mainline was clogged. We called by 11am on Saturday, and gave me an appointment for 3:00pm. He was early. He was quick to diagnose that the problem was at the street level.

In the end they left the work area just as they found. We were very pleased with Scott and Tina's workmanship and their friendliness. We highly recommend Quik-Rooter .

our plumbing kept backing up into our shower. Every 3 to 4 weeks we had to have a plumber come and use a snake. He finally recommended we contact Quik-Rooter to use a video camera to locate the problem in our line. The City of Porterville could not provide us with any plans that showed where our sewer lines were located. The video camera was our only option besides digging blindly . We called Quik-Rooter to make an appointment to use the camera and I was able to pick a time that was convenient for me. They were here on time and found the root promptly with the video camera. We were able to see our- selves the sewer lines and grease billed up. They used a high powered pressure hydrosnake to clean the grease that was under the cement driveway. They used the backhoe to locate the pipe (exactly where the vidio camera showed), cut out the pipe between the root and repaired the line and added an additional clean-out. .

Wife found a leak under the master bath sink...i saw a leak from under the siding on the outside wall in the same place. I removed drywall under the sink, couldn't find the leak, and a small bit of siding outside and still couldn't find the leak. Called Quik Rooter, they searched from under the sink upward and from the attic downward and found it about 6 feet up inside the wall. They dried to pull the old copper pipe in one motion up through the attic to avoid putting more holes in the drywall but couldn't. When they opened the wall, they found a hole from a previous patch job (previous home owner) that hadn't been done correctly and the couplings that were used were preventing the copper pipe from being pulled up past the strapping and into the attic. They replaced the copper with a new poly flex tubing and all is better than new. They were quick, professional and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again. Price was a bit high but competitive to others in the area, especially for a short notice job.

Copper cold water pipe had a leak high up in and exterior wall. Copper pipe was removed and replaced with new PEX or poly flexible pipe. Drywall had to be removed because a repair had been done previously by a previous owner and the couplings on the copper pipe prevented the existing pipe from being pulled up into the attack.

I had a complete stoppage of three drains in the house. It was a Saturday and I called three companies that advertised 24/7 emergency service and got an answering service after extended wait times. Each time I was told that someone would call me back. Now 24 hours later i have not received any call backs. I called Quik-Rooter and live, courteous knowledgeable lady answered immediately. I described my problem and she said she would send someone out. 15 minutes later I received a call from Edgar telling me that he was on a call and had two more ahead of me and would be here around 1:00 PM. At 1:20 PM he arrived, very neatly dressed with a clean, well organized vehicle and equipment. He had my stopped up drains cleared in about 15 minutes then proceeded to rout out the remaining drains that he determined to be partially blocked at no additional charge. All the while he was giving me tips on how perform preventive maintenance on my entire system right down to the septic tank. He said that performing this routine maintenance would prevent me from ever having anymore problems. I am amazed that this company has technicians at work 24/7, not just "on call" and they are incredibly neat, courteous and professional in every respect.
