Animal & House Sitting, Dog Walking, Animal Boarding Kennels,

About us

I've always had a passion for animals. From the dogs I had growing up, to the stray cats and all the critters in between. I attended Mount San Antonio College for an Associates Degree in business and walked away with an AS in Animal Health Technology as well. Afterwards, I interned with a veterinary office but also continued to pursue an education in business. I went to Cal Poly, Pomona, and completed my BS in Business Administration, however most of my time was spent at the Cal Poly Arabian Horse Center. I enjoyed taking equitation classes there and working as a show horse groom. I continued on with private lessons and leased several Arabians over the years. I finally purchased my own half-Arabian, “Stormin Norman”. I enjoyed showing him at Class A shows which was a dream come true for me. I utilized my business degree as a Sales Manager in the medical industry, but my passion for animals always remained with me. I enjoyed taking my dogs to dog obedience classes and occasionally caring for horses for my friends. I began volunteering at a no-kill shelter in Ontario and felt that I had found my “niche”. I fostered orphaned kittens and enjoyed working with problem dogs to help them become adoptable. The dogs could sense that they could trust me. I was often called upon to work with fear aggressive dogs. With time and a lot of patience, most of these dogs were able to find their forever homes. One of them, Oso, found his forever home with me. I made many good friends at the shelter and we worked together to expose the shy or fearful dogs to social situations. We would introduce them to baths, car rides, walks on the leash, dog parks, and social situations such as walks downtown with lunch at a sidewalk cafe (the dogs always got a hot dog or a hamburger patty) and pet adoption events. The dogs were always sooo good and loved the one on one attention. YES, ANIMALS ARE MY PASSION. If you should need pet care, I hope you will give me the opportunity to visit your pets. I promise to shower them with loving attention.

Lynn is very professional - amazing in fact. She has a shirt with the logo and cards and stationery. The neighbors can easily see who she is. She came by to show she is a member of the National animal sitting, has a business license, bonded, has her own insurance. I cannot think of what else I could have asked for. On top of that she is just a nice and kind lady. So happy I found her!

Lynn is wonderful! Lucky and Bear (our "boys") absolutely love and adore her. They could tell from the first minute that she is a "dog person". They love their time with her!

More importantly, I had given Lynn a key to the house for future sittings- Boy did it come in handy- We had a Doctor's appointment and put the dogs in their crates (as usual when we go out)- My husband was rushed from the Doctor's office into surgery at 5pm- a panic call to Lynn and she went right over and took care of the animals for me. It was a relief as I couldn't leave ICU to tend to them.

I met Lynn about 5 years ago at an animal shelter. She was the volunteer coordinator, I was a new volunteer. Because I know first-hand of Lynn's love and passion for animals, I had no qualms about having her come to my home to care for my 3 days while I was away. The first time, she came to do a "meet-and-greet" to make sure they would accept her. It was instant love! So she got the job! She sent texts, with pictures, to keep me informed as to how they were doing each day - that was awesome. She continues to care for my dogs whenever needed. Since I am a professional dog trainer, I have clients who need pet care services and Lynn is the first one I refer them too!! She is professional, honest, caring, and treats every animal as if it were her own.

I am completely at ease when I leave my dogs in Lynn Westbrook's care. She is bonded, insured and a member of the National Assn. of Professional Pet Sitters. I ask Lynn to take care of my dogs when I am out of town and I am beginning to think they like her more than me. I have one dog that has issues with strangers, as he was not socialized as a puppy and I adopted him when he was 7 months old. He runs to her and runs away from everyone else.

Lynn takes her business and your animals very seriously and professionally. She takes care of many types of animals. In the first meeting, you will get a lot of questions from her as she takes meticulous notes about every aspect of your animal's daily activities and care. You will need to sign some documents if you want to allow Lynn to take a sick animal to your veterinarian in case of an emergency. That was probably the one thing I had not thought of, but it told me she would make sure my dogs were okay.

The first time she sat with them, I received daily activity pictures on my computer. I didn't expect that, either. I give Lynn a high five and my dogs give her five paws. Lynn just recently helped me again (Jan/Feb 2014) with the dogs when I had surgery and could not move one arm for about 3 weeks. The dogs were so well cared for and they couldn't wait for her arrival each morning.
