Gio and Antonio worked closely with the city on permits so I rarely had to talk to the city direct. They finish our project almost 2 weeks early abd our mother was able to move in. They also installed some extra handicap bars with we were never charged for. These people are the ones to hire if you want a trusted contractor you can spend on to get the job done without drama, surprises or delays. We HIghly recommend this company.

Tony is very knowledgeable, he was meticulous about his work, understanding my concerns and always on top of the job. He has great communication, patience and fast response for change orders. The job was large and Tony and his team fully demonstrated professionally throughout the course of the job.

We had a bad experience with HRD for the repair related to an insurance claim in 2022. HRD did not do all the work the insurance approved but took the money for the work not done and refused to refund any of this insurance money that should have been retained by us. As in other reviews we have seen since contracting with this company, they pressured us for payment after every little work done instead of until after completion of all or most of the work as is done with other contractors we have worked with. We would not recommend HRD to anyone.

Gio the owner wanted money up front for work that had not been done. He asked me to Zelle him $3000.00 for just paint. He is nothing but a scam artist. And complains that he can not send anyone out to do work unless they are paid FIRST! Who ever heard of paying you for work that you have not done. Please stay clear of this company. And this was an insurance claim job. He broke my property and refused to pay to replace it. He will not be in business for long. This was an awful experience!!!

Such a disappointing and exasperating experience. I hired HRD and expected quality work, but HRD took advantage of a 73 year old woman. Their work ethic and performance was totally unacceptable. The kept demanding payment for work that was not done yet and demanded that I personally pay for the luxury vinyl flooring, undercabinet lights, cabinet pull outs, electrical outlets, garbage disposal, kitchen sink, faucet, paint, granite countertops, cabinet door pulls, backsplash tile/granite, corbels, and baseboards. These items were in the original scope of work from the insurnace company. I had to disposal of the old cabinets, appliances, and wood flooring. After 1 full year on the joband being paid in full from the insurance company, HRD left the remodel of my kitchen and pantry unfinished. I have no pantry at all. I still have cabinet drawers and doors missing. The work was totally unsatisfactory and shoddy in the remodeling of my kitchen and pantry. Alot of it is still undone, and some of it needs to be completely redone. I would not recommend HRD to anyone! I now have to spend more money and hire another contractor to fix what they have done and finish what is left unfinished.

I was happy to know that my satisfaction with the remodeled kitchen was the goal for the team at H.R.D., right down to the trim moulding under the cabinets. Both Antonio and Gio offered suggestions that proved to be more than just a nice ideas, but rather important design or function must haves . Thank you H.R.D.
