He really knows Honda cars. He is reliable and reasonably priced. He does not try to sell, but he will let you know if something needs to be done in the future. The quality of his work is very good.

The repairs were done promptly and the vehicle was road tested before I was called to be told that my car was ready to pick up.
I have had both my 2000 Honda Civic and my wife's 2004 Honda Civic serviced by Dave, since we purchased both cars. No one else has provided service for the car with the exception of two items, one for each car, that had to be taken care of by the Dealer, Sierra Honda of Monrovia, CA, since they involved items covered by the warranty that Dave could not handle without charging us. He has been reliable, honest and fair in all of our dealings with him. Other than occasional repairs and the replacing of brakes and tires, which has to be done from time to time with any vehicle, both of our vehicles have provided us with excellent service thanks, in large part, to Dave's skill as a mechanic and his knowledge of Hondas. He gets an A+ rating from my wife and from me.

Things went well without any problems. They were done within a half of a day. I have been using them for about 3 years and will continue going back.

My husband was driving our 2005 Acura RSX out of state when it became almost undriveable due to a faulty IAC valve. The Acura dealer did not have the required part in stock so he chose to drive home (very slowly) and while driving hit something on the road and had a flat tire. After AAA put on the spare tire, he was able to get to a Pep Boys store to replace the tire but the rim was too damaged and they would have had to order one so he drove the rest of the way home with these two problems.
I called a local Acura dealer and told them which part was needed and that a rim and tire was also needed. They quoted me a price to order the part, the rim and a new tire. It seemed quite high so he found H-Car Repair online with good customer ratings. I went in there with the damaged rim and the person who was very nice and very knowledgable said that he could send the rim out for repair and could also order the IAC valve from Acura. I went to a tire store nearby and ordered a new tire and when all parts were in (IAC valve, tire and repaired rim), the work was finished in just a couple hours. The total estimate at the Acura dealer was close to $1,500. My bill at H-Car Repair was $579.44 plus I paid $130 for the tire. They did excellent work, were very nice, and less than half the cost of going to a dealership.
I am planning to take our Acura to H-Car Repair for all services and repairs in the future and highly recommend them to any one with a Honda or Acura. Those are the only cars they work on.

They use factory parts here and that is what I like. They know what they are doing. They have been around for quite a long time. I know a lot of people who go there too and they have always been happy with their service.

I own a 2002 Acura TL and have used them before for the past two years. Their prices are much cheaper than the dealership and I trust their work and honesty. They inspected my timing belt and said that I could probably go on a bit longer and probably didn't need a replacement just yet but I wanted to be safe and told them to go ahead and replace it since my car's odometer was already at 155,000 miles. They completed the work within the same day. If you live nearby, then they will (depending on driver availability) give you a ride home and pick you up when your car repair is completed. I have previously used them to repair my car's engine mounts. I brought my car in to inspect my engine mounts and they showed me how to determine if the engine mounts needed to be replaced. I have brought my wife's 1999 Honda Accord here to look at the driver side front wheel which was making a funny noise and it turned out to be the sagging bumper (from a prior car accident) was scraping against the tire. They determined the problem and fixed it at no charge! We aren't talking about replacing the bumper but just tying up the bumper so it does scrape against the tire. We were planning to get rid of the Honda soon anyways and didn't want to spend a lot of money fixing the car. However, this goes to show you how serious and committed they are to customer service. I completely trust their work and would go back to them anytime I need my car repaired. I have seen them work on other cars besides Honda and Acuras but I would call them first to verify that.
