Life would certainly be less stressful when hiring someone to do work around ones home if the contractor you were hiring took the time and care and had even half the standards of this young man! I have been hiring persons for about one year now to do upgrades needed in prior rental, also to repair deliberate abuse from prior tenant! I have come across VERY few with the standards that Jason puts towards his projects. He actually measure, yes they all measure, no I mean really measured, yes even with the little tool to guarantee proper placement, he looked at the whole picture so as not too have to re do something again and again!! he took care of all expenses, I couldn't even get him to toss his garbage in bin, he had his own? I have used numerous contractors, at age 65 and prior to owning 5 homes and growing up with several rentals, I feel I have seen some of the best, most in todays market leave a lot too be desired. Jason has extremely high standards, yes he is too pricey, but if you can afford him and want quality work for a quality home you will be pleasantly surprised, his quality of work is quite rare in todays market, clearly he learned from an old pro.Unfortunately this little old house on fixed income now must make due with the average fixer, how distressing!!
