The  project started in April and by June he had abandoned the job. He would not refund any of the  money. The only thing he had done was a very poor excuse for a paint job. The  kitchen had the wrong floor tile and was not painted. If you try  to wipe off any of the walls just  using water the  paint  comes off. The paint peeled off all the  doors easily. He stopped  communicating I found  out he went to Hawaii  for 2 weeks. He  lied about having a crew > First said he  did and then   said he  didn't. We know  for a fact that two other guys were there  working on the  property. The property is 400 miles from where I live and this guy lives within 2 miles of the house. He had no bad reviews I  could  find and the  realtor I'd met online who also lives within  two miles gave him absolutly glowing reviews of his work. Said he'd  done all her  floors and worked  for the management company they  use.. I have since all this taken  place  found two review that are not  good.
I have  filed a  formal  complaint  with the CCLB. It is still under investigation however has made it to the  next step in the process.
. I also put out money  for attorney. I also went after his  Bond and did  get part of it. Not even half of what I lost
This  guy  should never be allowed to  hold a contractors  license  and I am doing all I can to see that he  loses his forever. He'a a good  con man. Stay away  from him, unless you can  afford  to lose 30,000.  dollars. I certainly  could not 
 Oh and to top all this off he says he fell on the steps and is sueing my insurance  company. They have already  told me he's a liar. I knew that . The day he said he fell he wasn't even there. This guy is bad news
