SR Painting

We got our house recently painted by Steve. The quoted price was fair. Steve was always responsive to phone calls. What we really liked about him is willingness to work with the paint brand we choose without any hesitation. He and his crew worked over several days to properly prepare our house to be painted and then worked diligently on painting it, even working through some challenges that we had on a side of our house. From my reseach online, I read the most important part of painting is surface prep. Steve spend a lot of time power washing and scraping the old paint off. He also had this special way of putting on the paint also where he would spray and then roll to make sure its pressed in really well. We are really very happy with the results. The house looks great, many people compliment it. I would definitely call back should any other painting need arise.

Said, the owner of SR Quality Painting, first met with me to do an estimate. He was very polite and respectful and we worked very well together. After selecting colors and agreeing on areas to be painted, he provided an estimate which basically remained the same except for additions I requested along the way which were added to the agreement.
When the painting day arrived, Said and his crew of 4 or 5 showed up on time and ready to go. I was impressed that he took the time to introduce each one of the painters to me and was very respectful toward them. All of his painters worked very hard and were very accommodating. The one area where they fell a little short was in replacing brackets and hardware after painting. So I would suggest you offer to replace them yourself as several of mine either got broken or did not get put back right. Have to say that Said did make things right when I called his attention to them.

Steve's directions were followed by his employees who demonstrated care
to perform as directed. Excellent care was shown to protect my
properties from spills and over-spraying. They were quick to respond
and receptive to suggestions. One error which was repeated on the
second property; Steve seemed to lack an eye for catching minor flaws
of employee oversights (i.e., minor items did not get painted).
In his defense, he was quick to correct or supervise any corrective measures
needed, when I brought them to his attention. I have worked with many
different kinds of contractors, and to be perfectly fair to Steve, everyone of
the contractors I have hired has failed to do something. Some contractors'
failures have been intentional short-cuts and/or deliberate cost-cutting
measures that I have caught.
Steve, on the other hand, took a more client focused,
proactive approach to accept responsibility for the short-comings and
delivered up the final product/service that we had wanted. We were very
pleased. Despite my one point, I would not hesitate to use his services again.
I would recommend, however, like any job you might have done, walk the
job with Steve before and after the job, and occasionally check the progress
during the job to call his attention to any concerns you might have. I found
he was quick to respond in a respectful, appropriate manner.

Steve and his crew did a great job on our house. We have wood siding with two different colors on top and bottom with white trim all around. They spent a great deal of time on the prep and it really showed in the final product. He is super responsive and very knowledgeable. We had some front posts which were getting pretty weathered, but Steve and his crew did a great job sanding, nailing, caulking and painting so they look brand-new again. I highly recommend his work. We had a great experience and he is a very nice guy.

SR PAINTING WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL FROM THE START OF THE JOB TO END. THE CREW WAS FAST, FRIENDLY AND VERY CLEAN. THE JOB WAS DONE AND WE LOVE IT. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
