From the initial contact with Garth and throughout the installation process completed by a family of installers, Delfino, Francisco and Victor we could not have been more pleased.
Windows were exactly as described.....and the workmanship and attention to detail demonstrated by the installers were unsurpassed.
Would definitely recommend Quality Windows and Doors for all of you window and door needs!

Poorly

I choose the company because they had the best price on installed Milgard Tuscany windows, and also because of their reputation. The company was very professional from the initial estimate until the final installation. Expectations on both ends (company and customer) were established in writing, the company kept all its commitments including always being on-time. I recommend going to their showroom in Pleasanton to see the window samples - that trip helped me make my final selection. Installation was done well - the contractors were on time and cleaned up after themselves. The building inspector came by to sign off on the door before the contractors sealed up their work. The windows and door look beautiful and there were no drafts.
I will definitely consider them for future work.

The estimate guy was friendly, but a little scattered and unorganized. He forgot about our first appt. but called the next day to apologize. Was prompt to the second appt. My major quip with this whole experience was that the estimate person didn't tell me that the price did not include the painting of the doors. Perhaps I should have been more knowledgable to know to ask that as the other estimate I received (for about he same price) specifically stated the quote did include painting the doors so I mistakenly assumed since it wasn't mentioned it was included.. That seems like a major thing to leave out and generally would think you would paint the doors before hanging.
Anyway they crew that came was friendly and professional and hung the doors. They did not have the correct color handles to match the brushed nickle trim, and that is also the point I found out they were hanging unpainted doors that needed further work. Also the pocket door frame was not square so the door looked wrong. The person who supervised the work did come out and said that after the doors were painted they could add some trim to make it look right. Which they did.. but again this looks like it should of been done before the paint so it could have been painted also. The estimate guy said he usually specifically states that they do not do paint and writes it on the estimate, but he admitted it was not written on the estimate. He apologized for his over sight and assisted me in finding a painter at my expense. However I would have never chosen this company if I had known it wasn't included since the other estimate included paint for the same price. I felt the company was very responsive to the issues that came up, but I just feel either these should have not been issues or I should of got some kind of discount in addition to an apology given their error in giving me all the information.It wasn't an awful experience but I was hoping it would be a better one based on other reviews here. I also got a quote and information for another project that was more expensive, but I am going to keep looking.

The installation crew was excellent. We are very happy with the quality of the windows/doors, and the manner in which the 2-person crew performed the installation. The only detractor in this contract was dealing with the installation crew's supervisor: he made 2 appointments to finish some minor work after the doors/windows and been installed, and failed to show on both times. On the third try, I finally called the owner of the company and received an immediate response. It was unfortunate that getting the details taken care of took 3 tries, since it detracted from an otherwise excellent installation.

We're very happy with this company, and Larry in particular. They have done work for us in the past, replacing a couple old windows, putting in a garden window, and replacing a wall with a picture window. Recently we had all of our other windows replaced, including a sliding glass door. Their prices are very reasonable (as you'll see once you shop around) and the customer service is excellent!

We needed to upgrade a garden window in our kitchen and two french doors downstairs. We had received a quote from another nearby door/window store and just wanted a comparison. We called and had a salesman come over the next day, and received a quote the following day.The price was much lower than the other company, so we decided to go with Quality. It also helped that our current contractor had worked with them and recommended them. We upgraded the two french doors to sliding doors and upgraded the garden window to a bay window. They were able to get our windows and doors within 10 days after ordering and the installation took 3 days.
They did a great job on installing the windows and doors and we are very happy overall with their work. When we replace our other windows, we will call them back.

At the time, Milgard had a rebate and also there was a tax credit from IRS so I actually paid less than the $10000. Extremely pleased with this company and the product.

I like them. They are very friendly and courteous. We once had an instance which I've already reported on it where they took a little time from the time we ordered and they got it installed. That was just one of the four or five services that we've had done by them over time. Every other time it's not been a problem including the front door install. They are prompt. Their estimators are friendly and knowledgeable. Their installers are diligent and very well skilled. They do their job well and clean up after themselves. The product they provide us has been up to our satisfaction in each instance. They are competitive with other places that provide installation.

The products they provided were really good and the quality of the work they did was great. We had a little difficulty, I think they placed the wrong order for the door and it took a little while for them to correct that. It was some what frustrating because they didn't follow up to explain to us why it was slowing down. The service they provided in terms of the door was great, I was happy in the end.

We used Quality Doors and Windows when we replaced other windows several years ago. We knew what we wanted and the estimate was done promptly. The price was competitive, while not the lowest bid. We had a very positive experience in the past so did not hesitate to use them again. This time was equally low stress. Installation occurred on schedule in a professional manner.

I called for information and quotes on a door. I subsequently went to their showroom where a friendly associate answered all of my questions and informed me of the different styles available for my use. I ordered two doors. They were delivered as promised.

It went very well overall. The estimator made a special trip to get his estimate in before another vendor's bid expired, and they were the least expensive for the same replacment window by a significant amount. The installers were very professional and did very good work from what I could see. There was a problem with one of the windows due to a measurement error which they promply fixed (they replaced the window). Cleanup after the job was good too. These guys were pros - I would use them again.

This company was really great and patient with me when I was making my selection of window. They were helpful in making suggestions. They had great customer service.

They did a great job. It all went very quickly. They were done installing the windows all in one day. They were good quality windows for the price. They were knowledgeable about there products.

The estimator, arrived on time and was courteous and efficient. The install occurred slightly earlier than originally specified, which was nice. The installers were courteous and hard working, and cleaned up well afterwards. However, the next day the locking mechanism on the French door pair would not retract and the door was unusable. They came out two days later and fixed the problem. Although this was a fairly prompt response, they were not good about phoning when they said they would, leaving me with the feeling for 24 hours or so that they were blowing me off and were not going to fix my unusable door. It's not clear if the locking problem was with the hardware installation or faulty hardware from Andersen.

Estimator listened to what I wanted done, offered a few suggestions that were agreed to. All scheduled dates were met, installers were extremely professional, product was installed, no damage to the area surrounding the new windows and doors, and clean up was 110%. Cost was very reasonable. I have recommended this company to others.

It only took them half of a day to install the windows. They installed Milgard windows which are a top brand. They did drive a company truck to my home. The reason that we used them is because they specialize in windows and I felt safer using them. They do have a life time warranty on the windows.

VERY PROFESSIONAL and RELIABLE. THE OVERALL JOB DONE MET OUR EXPECTATIONS. WORKERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY and MADE US FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THEM IN OUR HOUSE DOING THE WORK.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB: ALWAYS CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, NEVER LEFT A MESS, WERE POLITE, WORKED HARD EVERY DAY, and DIDN'T STOP UNTIL THE JOB WAS FINISHED.

THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT and WERE BETTER PRICED THAN SOME OF THE LARGER DOOR/WINDOW COMPANIES. I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR FAST INSTALLATION and QUALITY OF WORK.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD and DID A GREAT JOB REPLACING THE WINDOWS. THE MOLDING and STUCCO WORK WAS REPLACED WITHOUT ANY HOLES OR NON-MATCHING SPOTS. THEIR PRICING WAS VERY GOOD.

QUALITY WINDOWS AND DOORS RETURNED MY CALL A FEW DAYS AFTER WE HAD FIRST CALLED THEM. THEY EXPRESSED HOW SORRY THEY WERE FOR NOT CALLING SOONER, THEY WERE VERY BUSY. THEY SET UP A TIME FOR US TO MEET AND SEE WHAT THEY HAD TO OFFER AND GET PRICES. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND DID A GREAT JOB ON THE WINDOWS. WE COULD UNDERSTAND THEIR SLOW RESPONSE AS THEY TAKE CARE OF EACH CUSTOMER VERY WELL. GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR US.

THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT AND LARRY IS A NICE ENOUGH GUY, BUT, THE INSTALLER WAS LATE AND DID AN INCOMPLETE JOB. WHEN HE FAILED TO ARRIVE ON TIME AND I HAD TO LEAVE, HE ENTERED MY PROPERTY WITHOUT PERMISSION TO 'FINISH' THE JOB. I STILL HAD TO GET ANOTHER INSTALLER TO PROPERLY COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION. LATER I DISCOVERED THE FIRST GUY HAD BENT THE LOCK SO THAT HAD TO BE REPLACED.

QUALITY WINDOWS and DOORS DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THEY WERE ABLE TO PUT THE WINDOWS IN and NOT DISTURB THE STUCCO AROUND THE WINDOWS VERY MUCH. THEY FIXED WHAT THEY HAD TO CUT AWAY. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE MESS THEY CREATED PUTTING THE WINDOWS IN. THEY FINISHED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD.
