My kitchen had old style fluorescent lighting and was very dim as well as being out of date. Cawthon came in and removed the old lights, replacing them with modern recessed lights. I was particularly impressed that the company completely resurfaced the entire ceiling after completing the necessary sheetrock. This means that there is no evidence of the previous light box, no tell tale patch lines, just a uniform surface. This was then repainted in a color that was chosen to match the existing paint color and sheen. Now the kitchen and nook areas look bright and modern, and at a good price! I should also mention that new modern dimmer switches were installed to replace the previous toggle switches. I was also pleased that the workers covered all areas with drop cloth before starting and did an excellent job cleaning up. After they left there was no evidence that they had been there other than the nice new lights.
