The inspector showed up on time and did the inspection. This was a limited termite inspection. This company treated our house for termites about 10 years ago. No termites were found on this inspection. This company is now Aantex Pest Control.

As you read this, please keep in mind that we used Leading Edge Pest Management in the past and we were
satisfied with their work and service. I feel that using them a second time was a huge mistake on our part. Also keep in mind that
this company is Diamond Certified.
We were selling our house and needed a termite inspection. Leading Edge termite inspector number 1 showed
up on 9/18/15 and did what I feel was an incomplete termite inspection (details ahead), all he found was some dry rot out front
on the second floor in the eave above the garage. Leading Edge termite inspector number 2 (he has done work for us before), came out to see if the dry rot damage is something that he wants to do and is able to repair. He decided to pass on it as being too difficult for him to do, he indicated at the time it was beyond his capabilities. He referred us to a contractor that they use who then did a good job of repairing it on 9/22/15.
During escrow, the home inspector showed up on 10/29/15 and found termite damage around the front
living room fireplace. Leading Edge termite inspector number 2 showed up again on 11/4/15 to look at and he confirmed the damage found by the home inspector and missed by termite inspector number 1, who did the original termite inspection. Again he decided to pass on repairing it due to its difficulty and his own ability to do it. He referred us to the contractor again. We had trouble getting in touch with the contractor, finally we had to call termite inspector number 2 and he easily contacted the contractor who then contacted us. The contractor thought he could get to it the week before Thanksgiving, but as it turns out he could not get to it until the first week of December and our escrow was scheduled to close around December 1st which Leading Edge was aware of because of my calls and my realtor's calls. The buyer's loan would not fund without the termite repair clearance, and the seller of the house that we are buying wanted an early close too. Needless to say, we
let Leading Edge know of our dissatisfaction. Keep in mind that all of this has been caused by Leading Edge termite inspector number 1, in my opinion, doing an incomplete inspection job in the first place. Leading Edge termite inspector number 2
who was previously incapable of doing the work was now ready, willing and able to do the repair for a price of $3,100 for what probably amounted to no more than 8 man hours of work. This was completed on 11/20/15. In my opinion, I feel this is probably triple what it should have been due to the great inconvenience that we are causing him and his having to cancel and rearrange appointments for that day and supposedly having a lot of people angry at him for changing their appointments. We have been homeowners since 1977, and in my experience, there were many times we had contractors change
appointments with us because they hadn't finished up a job yet or whatever, we have never gotten angry at any of them. Many times we have things happen that are out of our control. In my opinion, the higher price gave termite inspector number 2 good incentive to do the job that he could have done in the first place at the normal price. Also, after completing the job, the inspector and his helper also dumped a bunch of their sawdust on the ground near our front door on some of our plants.
In my opinion, Leading Edge basically backed us into a corner where we had no choice but to pay whatever they asked to get the job done. In my opinion, had termite inspector number 1 done his job correctly and competently, the termite repair
would have been done at the same time as the dry rot repair and no one would have been inconvenienced and none of this would have been an issue. However, Leading Edge never took responsibility, at least not to our face, for their error and instead we had to pay a premium price to get the work done.

They came out and provided a bid promptly and then treated in a limited area for dry wood termites. I was not able to consider tenting because I am attached on one side. I believe they were able to eradicate the pests (I didn't waste any time arranging for services)

We had termites in 2009, they did an extermination, and I wanted to make sure that the termites were still gone.

I live right on the edge of 4 miles of open fields and they take care of any bugs and rodents that try to some into my home. The chemicals are very effective but not harmful to me. They always call before they come and they even did a termite inspection and mailed me a report for report for free.

As a real estate agent, they are the only company that I will use with my buyers

We switched to them within the last year. They are very courteous and efficient. They seem to take extra effort to address our situation. I don't know if this would help people, but this is a piece of advice from the gardening show that I was listening to the other day. Somebody had called in and was having a discussion with the host and he was talking about how he got rid of gophers. He said that one needs to catch one of the gophers and get some of the blood and then put the blood in the hole and they'll never come back.

We had used them several years before so we called them back. We thought they were reliable but I can't recall the price so I can't compare them to other comanies.

We knew we had termite damage at one end of the house where the walls had been opened up for construction. This was the third company we tried. The first one did not examine the crawlspace. The second examined it and said there was evidence of termites in all corners, but the inspector did not seen knowledgeable and we doubted his assessment. The inspector from Leading Edge examined everything thoroughly and did not find evidence of termites or damage in the crawlspace.

It was an excellent service. They were efficient, there were no surprises, they did good work, and I was thrilled. We have not had any problems since.
