We had to have most of the job redone. Including removing door frames because they painted the wrong color. Instead of leaving the wall paint as it was, they painted over it, leaving the color different from the rest of the walls.

Jeff took most of the bathroom down to the studs. He managed his subs well,and the job was finished on time. The only items over budget were my own doing. Jeff was meticulous and conscientious with his work, and offered great ideas too. The results were gorgeous. I have used Jeff on previous projects and will continue to use him on my future projects.

From the get-go, Jeff (and his crew as well as all of his "subs") performed in an exemplary and trustworthy fashion. Each time we came to him w/an additional project, he greeted the new work with a smile on his face and a can-do attitude, which was very much appreciated. When we asked for ideas on choices we needed to make, he always had constructive thoughts. He even discovered on his own, new ways that something could be done (such as raising the ceiling in the smaller bathroom which helped to make it "feel" larger -- we had no idea that the space above the original ceiling was mostly "dead space" that could be utilized). His tile guy, plumber, and electrician did excellent work and the work done always passed the necessary inspections the first time around. We also needed to have a custom vanity made for the larger bath and the person he uses for that type of work did an amazing job ... we were just blown away by how it turned out. I think one of the key things that we appreciated so much about Jeff's work ethic was when we had a couple of issues that arose along the way which weren't even under the scope of the work he was doing and yet he stepped up to the plate and helped us solve those issues as well. We had also decided along the way to replace our old wrought iron stairway banisters w/a wood one and Jeff provided us w/the name of a vendor who did a wonderful job and we also chose to use someone he recommended for the hardwood floors we wanted to install downstairs and new carpet upstairs. When all is said and done, I believe that if you can approach doing this type of project w/an eye focused on the end result, it always makes it easier to deal w/your life sort of being turned upside down for a while, but it really helped to have someone like Jeff heading up the project and doing his best to make everything as painless as possible. The bottom line is that we cannot recommend Jeff highly enough and we we wouldn't hesitate to use him again for any future remodeling projects.

He was extremely professional throughout and did wonderful work. He cleaned up every day so there was never any mess to contend with. He was punctual and checked in the evening before of the time of arrival, and what was going to happen next. I plan on using him again and would recommend him to anyone. I was really impressed.

We have worked with many contractors over the years on different properties and most are unreliable and don't return phone calls. Jeff returns emails and phone calls on a timely basis, a rare characteristic of contractors these days. He has good judgment, provides good advice and we trust him to work in our house when we are not on the premises. We highly recommend Jeff and continue to work with him on our updating our home.

Jeff was referred to us by a friend over three years ago for window installation. As a general contractor with wide experience in remodels and construction, Jeff helped us at that time also with electrical installation, concrete setting, door and window repair as well as window installation. Since then we have called him back several times to install additional windows and most recently a large French door. Over the years, Jeff has proven himself to be an excellent craftsman. Always reliable, practical, realistic, careful, neat, timely from start to finish, he has met our high standards every time. He pays attention to the smallest details, and ensures that each project is completed to our satisfaction.

He was just awesome. He had subcontractors, and the overall experience was great. He was very cooperative, easy to work with. I was very, very happy with him. Sometimes contractors are hard to work with, but he was very easy to work with and was quick. His work was top of the line, as well. Outstanding results. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a contractor.

He worked efficiently and the quality of craftsmanship was outstanding. He does most of his work in the east bay area of San Francisco. He was in town to visit and picked up some extra work on his vacation.
