The work was completed in less than week. Had to wait for the custom under floor heating element to be made by the manufacturer, which took about a week and a half including delivery to my home. Then about 3 days later the work was started. Complete installation took about 5 days as the underfloor heating element had insulation installed under to reduce the heat losses to the ground and then the element had to have a screed put on to set it in place. That took about a day and a half and it took a day and a half to dry. Then the floor was installed in a a day. Then they installed new baseboard and the beading in the two doorways the next day. It is such a better job than installing the floor up to the existing base board and installing a quarter round at the bottom of the existing baseboard. GKN matched the new baseboard to the original in the house even though the house is twenty years old.
This kind of detail is why I think this contractor is so great. He even changed the way the beading in the doorways was done as he did not like the way it looking.

Their price was reasonable. I do know him personally as he is a good friend of my youngest son. I paid him to do a job and he did the job. When I had a problem on the plumbing work, he was back the next day.
