Blueline Engineering

Used Blueline for an office building remodel.  Pros:  The quality of workmanship was generally good, the pricing was reasonable, the workers and foreman were friendly/easy to work with, invoicing was accurate, and their cabinet shop work was of good quality .  Cons; the overall  communication, scheduling  and coordination with the subs was poor.   After the substantial completion and majority of the payments were made in early February, the remaining punch list items obviously dropped to bottom of their priority list. I must have sent them a punch list over a dozen times March to May and I could not understand why they could not keep track of what needed to be done to finish the job.  Many instances when they said they were showing up to do work and did not. Owner Jeff Barrett's finger pointing with subs and myself was unprofessional and tiring.   Did not get a final inspection until May 15th.  It took until June 26th to get the last of the punch list completed.   This is a typical contractor with short range business vision in my opinion.
