Mr. Boris Okun was recommended to us by our electricians, K&I ELECTRICAL; they needed to construct two dry walls in order to finish the electrical project. Despite what the name of the company says, Mr. Okun is a general contractor. Mr. Okun responded quickly, but we had to wait for him two weeks before he could construct two walls and our renovation projects could continue. He worked fast, it took his team a day, and they did a good job. Boris gave us a very reasonable estimate for interior painting which we declined because of the time frame. We also asked him about several other construction adjustments, floor tiles, and wall paper which he agreed to do for us, giving us three weeks of waiting period. Upon the end of the waiting period, we had an appointment with Boris, but the workers did not show up at the agreed time, and we did not receive a call. It was a disappointment as we had had to prepare for their work, and waited in vain twice for the team to show up. After a couple of telephone calls and e-mails on my part, Boris sent us a painter who did touch-ups, elements of painting (which was not completed by another painting company), and several other repairs in the best possible way (Yakov Postolov  [email protected]; 415-516-0575). But other items that Boris promised to do remained on the waiting list. After waiting for another two weeks, he stopped answering our phone calls and e-mails, and we hired another company to do tiles and wallpaper. We were extremely unhappy about B I Quality Painting?s delays, as it put us behind our schedule, and resulted in month and a half of waiting time (also wasted days when I would arrive to meet the team, and no one showed up). Most striking was his not communicating to us about these delays and the changed schedule. When dealing with B I Quality Painting we recommend putting the schedule and work plan in writing, so that you could protect yourself from unexpected delays and consequent disappointments.
