Robert was responsive, professional, and flexible. Robert and his crew (just one other guy) got an amazing amount done in a day-and-a-half and I will be having them back in fall to continue the work once the fire season and heat calm down. Robert and I had a bit of phone tag in the beginning (no fault of his) and although in the time between our initial call and setting up the days to work on my land his schedule filled up before his summer hiatus, he still fit me in. Robert is the real deal, local, honest, and hard working. The yard looks amazing and it was worth every penny. They work by the day rate but will pro-rate on an hourly basis for half-days if necessary.

Nobody showed up at the time and date arranged more than a month prior.  I called the company, and left a message.  My call was returned and I was told that our appointment had been cancelled because of the heat. She said that a message had been left yesterday; but no message was received at the property where the work was to be done or on my cell phone.
The company will be closed for the next two months, so we are extremely disappointed that this work cannot be done.
With three telephone numbers to reach us, the company should have made sure the message was received.

At the time of the initial consultation and estimate, owner Rob Scott was extremely courteous and professional, and we were happy to do business with him.  This made it all the more disappointing when the appointment was not kept and the communication was so poor.

Rob came out promptly and realized that we had already had our lot cleared and that we needed a tree person. He was super kind and professional and gave me a referral for a tree person

Rob came out promptly for an estimate and scheduled the job about 2 weeks ahead. He phoned the day before to confirm, then he and his colleague arrived about 15 minutes ahead of the schedule job start the next morning. The guys worked tirelessly and thoroughly for 6 hours and did a wonderful job. I plan to bring them back next month for more of the same work elsewhere on the property.

Rob and team exceeded our expectations. He arranged for a large dead pine tree to be cut down, then cut and split the tree for firewood. They cleared brush from our backyard (steep hill) as well as the front of the house, Rob was responsive, on-time, did what he outlined he would all at a fair price. Exceptional service!

They we're here on time professional very nice guys did a great job I would use them again and I certainly would refer them.

We have used Scott several times for this type of work and he is excellent - timely, thorough, thoughtful and efficient. He won't climb up into trees for trimming, but he will do everything else. His estimates are reasonable and well communicated. We will use him again for sure.

Super nice guy. Professional. Took time to discuss his equipment when I inquired out of curiosity. He went the extra mile and spread out shavings instead of just leaving them in a pile for me. I have more work for him in the future. Refreshing to have someone on time... and not try to screw me on cost. He sets the standard. Thank you.

we had a very large area that needed cleared and chipped. they did a geat job. showed up when they said they would worked a total of 7 days.

Rob was prompt and performed the tasks we contracted with him. He was very neat and efficient. Did a good job, better than I could have done myself.

I had removed a lot of dead branches from trees across our lot. The branches were in small bunches across a surface of about 3 acres. My plan was to rent a chipper, but I found that these cannot be attached to a mid-size car.

Rob came for an estimate. He said it would probably take less than a day. The cost for a full day was $550. If it took less, the cost would be lower. We agreed on a date.
He came early on that day, worked hard, and was done in a little more than half the day. So he worked fast, even though he knew I was ok for up to a day's work. They did a great job spreading the chips in the woods. I can hardly notice it, even where there were a lot of branches. We agreed on $350, and I was happy with that.
Rob and his helper were very professional and friendly throughout the process.
I will not hesitate hiring them again for my future cleanups.

We've used RW Scott twice for large chipping / brush removal jobs. They were VERY responsive when i called and asked for a quote. He drove out to the job site, provided an estimate and a date when he could do the work. We were not living at the property at the time, so i drove out to the site the evening of the date th work was suposed to be done. Sure enough...the brush had been cleared, chipped, and the chips placed exactly where i wanted them. In addition, he chipped a bit more than he was contrated to do at no charge (one additonal pile of brush). The placed looked fabulous.
I also used RW Scott earlier in 2012 for a smaller job. I don't remember all the details but i do know i was happy (and this is why i called him a 2nd time).

Scott's Chipping did exactly what they said they would do - they showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would do and charged exactly what they said they would charge. Mr. Scott and his helper Joe worked their tails off all day on the hottest day of the year. I would recommend Scott's Chipping to anyone in need of chipping or clearing services.

I found R.W. Scott Chipping at a local business showcase and called for an estimate on brush removal and yard clean up. The owner came out on a weekend to see the yard and the type of work that needed to be done. He provided an estimate and we scheduled a date for the work to be done. He and another person arrived promptly on the scheduled day. I stopped by the house at lunch and was so impressed with the work they had already completed, and when I arrived home from work tonight, the entire yard looked great. The weed-eating had been complete, the over-hanging trees were trimmed up, fallen branches had been chipped and my wood was nicely stacked. I am so excited to have my yard back again thanks to this company! They were friendly, courteous and professional and I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. It was well worth the cost to have my land looking this clean.
