Rob and his crew installed a total of nine doors for us, including two sets of interior pocket doors, two sets of exterior French doors, and a single interior pocket door. This was much more complicated than it sounds. All of the doors were in slab form, and none of them were prehung. He did a masterful job installing them and we could not be happier. He was also able to introduce us to somebody that successfully matched a pecan colored stain that had pre-existed in the home when we purchased it about a year and a half ago. Our home is very mid-century modern and had lots of pre-existing wood that we really wanted to match as closely as possible and Rob coordinated a fantastic introduction to a paint and stain artisan and it came out wonderful. Rob and his guys are really craftsman, very skilled carpenters and woodworkers, and we look forward to doing more work with them in our home and referring them to our friends. The other thing that Rob was able to successfully do for us was install a series of brass rods in the form of a starburst pattern on our two entry doors to the home. My wife had purchased this starburst pattern that required incredibly detailed and intricate installation onto the surface of our newly painted doors and Rob and Grayson did a superb job making sure the entire installation came out perfectly. My wife and I could not be happier, and we look forward to having Rob and his crew back over to do additional work for us. Five star, high-quality contractor for sure.

I hired Kurk Construction in early 2023 after an exhausting search for a honest contractor who would follow through on what the said they would do. Rob Kurk proved to be that and so much more. He and his crew completed a fairly large remodel and addition to my 1950s home. Despite many unexpected structural issues found during demolition, the project was completed within the original estimated time. If you know anything about construction, you know that older homes almost always come with surprises when you start to open things up. Not only did Rob find solutions for all the surprises that were revealed as the project progressed, but he did so in way that I as the homeowner did not have to stress about these unexpected issues. He always remained calm and direct about what was discovered and focused on the solution instead of any inconvenience or setback it may have caused. He and his crew always showed up when they said they would and were ready to work. They are respectful and amazing at what they do. The bid we received from Kurt construction came in well below the other bids we received, and when it was all said and done, â surprisesâ and all, we were able to stay within our budget. I cannot say enough about the amazing experience I had working with Rob his team and will never hesitate to reach out to them for work in the future. I love my new kitchen and bathroom!!

We hired Rob for a built-in custom desk/work area and a custom mudroom storage area. Rob and his crew were incredibly professional, communicative, and gave the utmost attention to detail. It was clear how much they care and take pride in their craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Will definitely be calling Rob for any future projects!

This was the second project Rob performed for us. The results were top notch. Rob is great at working with others, as evidenced by the cooperation he gets from subcontractors (electrical, texturing) that worked on the project. The job was completed without any delays or change orders. Additionally, if you are not looking for a complete remodel, ask to see pictures of his custom furniture or cabinets he has completed. He is truly an artist with wood. If you are looking for tremendous results and a very pleasant experience with a contractor, Rob is your man.

Rob and his team of employees and subcontractors did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom and converting a small closet into a laundry room in my 120+ year old house. I would definitely hire again!
