This job started with removing an exterior door and re-stuccoing....and then snowballed into basically redoing the majority of the attached interior room. Vincent is extremely accommodating and took all of our wishes into account, bending over backwards to meet the needs of the expanding jobs. This was our first forray into any kind of home remodel/repair and we will definitely continue to talk to Vincent about our upcoming jobs. Because it was our first forray, we did learn some things: be super clear about the sequence of events so that you can prepare accordingly and be upfront about ways to mitigate cleanliness from the get-go. The team did a great job of cleaning up after the job was done, but we wished we had asked for more dust precautions from the start. But that's our learning curve. We totally take that on ourselves. And while we did have to double check some appliance hook up specifics, everything seems to have turned out splendidly. I hope anyone reading this isn't turned off to this company by my transparency. I have ZERO qualms recommending them.

This is our second job with Vinicon Construction--and it was just as awesome an experience as the first time. Highly recommended and next year when we do our next house project we'll be calling Vincent and crew first. We wanted to build a 12 x 12 square foot deck in our backyard extending from the upstairs back door of our house in Oakland, with stairs going to the backyard. Vincent (the owner of Vinicon) was extremely responsive to outreach (by email and by text message) and we easily worked through design, pricing, and timing. The crew was ready to start a day later, which was great for us because it fit our schedule. The crew leader, Thomas, was just great. He led the others and was very skilled at envisioning the project, measuring precisely, and fitting it all together. Vincent came a number of times to bring materials--which was not easy during these COVID times because supplies were low at the lumberyards and stores so he had travel quite a bit, but he was very nice about not charging us extra even though supplies were more expensive than expected. They finished the job in about 4 days exactly to our specifications...we asked for horizontal slats, stairs that went a certain direction, posts that weren't capped in a few spots because we may put an overhead cover on it, and extra support and cement underneath everything. And they did it all without any issue. They even did extra touches for us without being asked, like sanding the handrails and things like that. Really nice quality and craftsmanship. Vincent, Thomas and team were a pleasure to work with. On time, hard-working, and thorough. We definitely recommend them if you're looking for great work, honest pricing, and a trustworthy group.

For real, I simply cannot rate VConstruction (Vinicon) highly enough! Vincent and crew (Oscar, George, James, etc.) absolutely nailed our fencing project...installing a front and side fence that totaled about 150 feet in length around our home in Oakland. We provided specifications in advance re: a walk-up gate, a driveway gate, a setback gate, tree removal horizontal wood slats in the front, board-on-board vertical planks on the side, and more, and they did everything perfectly. Vincent (owner) was extremely responsive to us via email and phone, and that made for a great experience. It was actually one of the deciding factors for us, as we had done estimates/quotes with more than half a dozen other companies before selecting VConstruction. My wife and I even worked along side the crew, staining the fence as they built it. They removed part of a tree on the property line, hauled away all remaining items including from a removed older fence, demo'd stuff, etc. Really just awesome work where they took the time to make it look super sharp, be sturdy/durable (using concrete of course), and with very courteous and respectful service. As VConstruction is actually a general contractor, we would be very comfortable working with Vincent and crew again if/when another project comes up that didn't involve a fence, since now that part is all set. Totally earned our respect for the quality of the work and fair pricing, and we recommend this company to everyone. Enjoy! -D+M

Great company - friendly, responsive, punctual. All the sub contractors were nice, neat and considerate. I am very pleased with the end result and would hire them again. I highly recommend them.Very responsive and did very good work.
