MARK ANASTAS FLOOR SERVICE

We contracted to have a custom shower built that included two tiled walls and two glass block walls (the glass block was done by someone else). Also, a marble tile tub surround, tile bathroom floor, marble tile baseboard and tile tub step. Mark assured us that he would be doing the work himself and really talked a good game, very convincing that he knew what he was doing. Since the shower is a custom size 5' x 6' it was understood that he would build a pan from scratch and waterproof everything accordingly. When it came time for the project to start Mark showed up with a helper that eventually ended up doing 90% of the work mostly without Mark supervision. A five day job ended up taking five weeks to complete. About a year after the job was finished, we noticed that there was mold forming on the walls outside the shower. Subsequent investigation found that no waterproofing had been done and we were forced to tear out the entire shower and replace it because of extensive water damage.
