Island Concrete and landscape "AtA contractors"

Don't bother. If you Yelp the phone number you will see the terrible reviews from AK Concrete which is the same person. Lucky is a nice guy and an even better 'sales man'. Don't buy into it. He said everything right. They showed up the first day when they said they would. They cleaned the area pulled out boards and filled a hole with concrete where a fountain was and took half the money for the job per the contract. They were supposed to come back a week later to finish everything but then no one showed up. Lucky said he got the dates wrong and they would be there a couple weeks later. No one showed up. Then I reach out to him and find out his 'finisher' has a family emergency and won't be available for a month. I (I always had to follow up) called a little over a month later with no response. Finally when I reached him, Lucky said he was sick and might have Covid. I never heard from him again despite trying to reach him for another few months. What he left me with still had to be leveled not to mention the team left nails poking out from where boards and cracks were. Don't waste your time or money. This whole process wasn't worth it and I basically had to spend the same amount of money for someone to clean up the mess he left.
