Pine Grove Community Hardware

My water heater quit working so I replaced the thermostats and heating elements.  I screwed up the wiring labeling during re-assembly and caused a large electrical short which blew up the double-throw circuit breaker.  Unfortunately, the house is rather old and the replacement circuit breaker is not available in most hardware stores.  Jay came to my house and showed me my wiring mistake.  He was also able to acquire the circuit breaker from a wholesaler.  He was more into teaching than fixing and showed me what I had done wrong and gave me other money-saving maintenance tips about my water heater.  His service cost $60 for roughly 1 hour of his time.  Unfortunately the weird circuit breaker cost around $100.  Jay called me about a week later to see if my water heater was fixed and still working.
