After being given a quote of $4,500 - &8,000 for the repair/replacement of our well-pump several months prior to the service referrenced here, my wife and I decided to do the work ourselves at a cost of only $2,500. That should have been the last time we called Jack Dunn Inc. for help with our well. A few months later, our aerator sprung a leak right before we planned to leave for a week-long vacation, so, not having or wanting to take the time to hassle with it ourselves, we called them to fix it. Not only did Jim, the serviceman, not have the replacement parts, but after taking 2+ hours to replace the broken aerator with a 1-foot section of PVC ($8 in parts), he charged use $250 in labor costs in addition to the cost of parts, for a grand total of $258. I could have made the same repair myself in 30 minutes, as a novice, for the cost of parts alone. I will NEVER call them again.
Description of Work: A broken and leaking aerator for a water-well pump-system was replaced with a one-foot section of PVC pipe.
