Wedge Roofing

I am a home owner in an HOA. We recently had our roof replaced. As a surprised that after the repair, along with other home owners, I was assessment for roofing repair that was never communicated by Wedge nor show of proof work was done and parts were replaced. It just became they said they did the work and I had to pay for the work without proof. Is this ethical. Do you homework before selecting Wedge.

Wedge had a crew out within hours. They repaired the leak (in the rain) and our problems were solved. Can't say enough about Wedge. Professional, prompt and they clean up after themselves. Planning to use Wedge for re coating our roof next summer.

Wedge responded quickly with an estimate and worked us into their schedule as soon as they could. Aussie roofing had promised to call us back after 4 calls requesting service and never did. It was a pleasure dealing with Wedge that was professional and responsive.

They do detail preparation. They clean up and spray carefully so that they don't over spray.

The quote process was timely and professional for both jobs; the quotes were reasonable. The crews arrived on time and the work was thorough. They did some extra fixes for free, which on a roof during rainy season was much appreciated. The office was exceptional in its responsiveness and attention to particulars. As noted, Wedge has completed two jobs for us, one large one small, in a consistently praiseworthy mannrt. Good workmansh and great communication.

I am so completely grateful to Wedge for my new roof! Especially after what I went through before I found Wedge! Wedge installed a new GAF composite shingle roof and spray foam insulation, which was sadly to replace a and quot;new roofand quot; that was installed incorrectly by another area roofer. Fortunately Wedge has on their team an aeronautics engineer with a Bowing background, who correctly solved the ventilation problem the last roofer had left for me. I only wish he had mentioned this expertise sooner so I would have been more at ease all along! I originally received four quotes and had thought that I had chosen the best roofer. I am experienced with remodeling but I did not know anything about venting roofs. Three of the four roofers that originally wrote quotes would have built the roof and venting incorrectly (including the one I chose). The fourth quoted a price about twice as high as others but would not answer my questions about why his quote was so much higher, so I did not understand what a proper roof entailed. *** Be careful if you are looking for a roofer, because there are roofers out there who do not know about venting, even though this knowledge is required by their licenses; they are still licensed and are still being recommended and positively reviewed on the jobs that happen to work out for them, some temporarily. *** It was six months later when there was a storm that the venting problems appeared. If a roof is not vented properly, I have learned the hard way, it will mildew in the rain and deteriorate in the heat. The first roof looked beautiful so I would not have even known I needed the expertise Wedge would offer me later. It was a painful process to deal with the bond company who did not want to cover the repair costs and the state who did not want to provide the information I needed to know how to repair my roof correctly. I was not fully compensated, which bothered me less than not receiving solid information and the support of knowledge from the state, and feeling misled by offices that are supposed to help consumers correct these types of errors, and set proper licensing requirements. The original contractor attempted to cause further troubles for me that would make you gasp. I am still able to sleep better after hiring Wedge and knowing that the proper roof I now have is worth what I paid. I also have better insulation now for the added price. It is a good value. Wedge replaced the roof and installed the spray foam in one (long) day, cleaned up the grounds afterwards, and returned to vacuum the dust that fell in the attic. It was a great, low stress day. The crew was polite, and performed their jobs well. I had so many questions for months before the roof replacement because of what I had already gone through, and Wedge fielded all of my questions, provided materials and resources, and communicated with me during all of the time of my bond settlement until I was ready to complete the job. They helped me to schedule the date in advance and also were willing to move my appointment earlier when there were changes to my schedule. They went through extra requirements of the inspectors under permit since the first permitted roof had been approved. Also note they are one of maybe three that install spray foam and there are only two I would trust. I am glad to provide a verbal reference for Wedge to help roofing customers avoid the nightmare I experienced. I would have been so glad if I had hired Wedge first. They are now my one and only.

The work was done on time and the crew was great.  They did a nice job, cleaned up and were delightful to work with.  My only complaint is that Wedge has an insanely short 3 year warranty.  The foam supplier offers a more traditional 10 year warranty and I didn't realize the discrepancy until the job was complete.  If I had I would have gone with DuraFoam.  I've also used them in the past and while I was not as satisfied with the experience of working with them they offer a 10 year warranty.

As always Wedge Roofing did an excellent job. I have used Wedge roofing for installation of new roof, for maintenace and for repair of roof on two of my homes. I've never had any reason to complain. They have always done a great job. I have remommended them to my friends.

They responded immediately on the phone, set an appointment for the same morning, repaired major leak into bedroom. They checked a different place but saaid lit was ok. A couple of days later that area began to leak. They came back quickly, repaired that leak, and did not ask for more money.

Everything with the actual appointment was fine, punctual arrival, easy to make appt, etc. When we received the report, only one option was presented. Subsequent emails with questions about options for different methods or approaches went unanswered. We expect to make informed decisions, not blindly accept a recommendation without some information about alternatives, pros and cons. For this reason, we were not comfortable pursuing the recommendation provided, regardless of whether it might have been the right choice, we didn't have sufficient information to make a decision.

The estimator was very responsive and professional. The work was done on schedule. The crew was efficent and protected my adjacent buildings from overspray. I am very happy with the quality of work as well as the product.

Their service was good. They did great work. They did it timely. Their customer service was really good. I have nothing but positive feedback.

We are happy with the roof. It looks fine. It was easy to work with them. They came out the next day and tarped the roof until they could get out to do the actual work. It took a while for them to find the time to do it because of a lot of rain in the area and their other customers; but as soon as they could, they did the work. They even gave us a partial credit from tarping the roof on our bill for the foam roof. We are pleased with the result.

The quality of the materials was poor. The materials were ordered wrong.

We have used them for a long time and they have provided very good work. They do a good job. They do the work quickly, clean up after themselves, they have been very pleasant to work with.

The service was terrific. They subbed out the drain area and I was not very happy with the way the drains work with the roof. The drain empties off the back of the house where we have a hill and it increased the water amount that gets into our crawlspace and we had to redo the crawlspace due to this. Wedge Roofing did do a good job however.

We have used them for many years and they always do a great job.

Following the roof inspection (prompted by water running down the bedroom wall after a major rainstorm), Wedge Roofing provided a comprehensive report including pictures. It described what needed to be done to repair the roof and it also included recommendations for additional optional work including insulation. The staff was very easy to work with, clear in their explanations and not at all pushy about anything. I opted only to do the needed repairs. I very much appreciated their approach. When it came to scheduling an appointment to come out and do the repair work, it was done efficiently and they came as promised.
The work was completed on schedule and all cleanup was done. The workers were willing to explain as they went along and did their work quickly and efficiently.
It has now been a number of months since the repairs were done and we are into the next rainy season. There are no leaks and I am very happy.

We still have problems that they caused in the past. It was inconvenient getting their problems fixed. We would not want to deal with the company again. I felt that they had unskilled workers and they messed up our patio overhang.

Their communication was good, they were timely, and they did a great job of sealing the skylights. Furthermore, they worked around my schedule which I appreciated.

It went well. Wedge had the expertise to diagnose the issue when other companies didn't, and they did the work quickly and professionally.

Everything went well. They were quick, prompt, and did a good job with the repairs.

It was great. They were timely, fastidious, and had a reasonable price. In fact, I can't think of anything about them that I disliked.
