I don't know what the cost savings is yet but I do know that we had that 107 degree heat spell for three days after I had them put the radiant barrier in my house never got about 78 degrees. They put a radiant barrier in my attic and the whole house is cooler for longer. I turn on my AC for about a half hour on the hottest days and then I'm good with just ceiling fans. They also say that my heating bill will be much lower in the winter because the heat won't leak out of my roof. The cost was about double the usual cost because I use my attic for storage and didn't want to move the 100+ boxes and bins so they could lay it on the beams and under the floorboards.
