Super Sweeps

He replaced the back wall of the fireplace with material that was the wrong size.  He "was" working with Hearts Chimney, but Julie Casey of Hearts Chimney tells me that Super Sweeps have abandoned their former jobs and not performed well, so Hearts no longer partners up with Super Sweeps.  So whatever you do, do not hire Super Sweeps. Heart's Chimney is going to replace the back fireplace wall at no cost.  They will also inspect the work that Super Sweeps was supposed to do properly.

The individual that took original measurements explained everything that had to be done very well.  He had to get his own estimates as to fabrication expense and call back with final project costs.  They charged $100.00 for a chimney inspection which was taken off the final total.  After giving approval to the project they require  50% deposit which was worrying to me since all experts say never give money in advance.  However, in this case the project was completed in a matter of days and completed in a very professional and highly competent manner.  I was very happy with the complet project

They were scheduled to sweep my chimney on the day it snowed so hard, so I did not expect them. I did, however, expect them to call to reschedule, which they did not do. When I called them, the scheduler apologized and said he did not have his appointment book with him and would call me back the next day. That was a couple of weeks ago. I gave up and have scheduled someone else.
