Ricardo Cruz

Because it happens rarely that you get precision work inexpensively, I am delighted to write the first reference for Ricardo. He and his son Urile turned out to be perfect for my large house:   precision painting using sprayers as well as rollers and brushes, responsible to a fault and respectful,  and they  worked their tails off every day, taking 10 minutes for lunch  for a month prepping rooms thoroughly, sanding all the woodwork and detail in each room.  They  moved all the furniture from room to hallway to room, leaving me a bedroom to sleep in; hand-sanded 12 doors, tons of wood molding and a carved wooden staircase; moved 5 heavy file cabinets; took down 20 large pieces of artwork; fixed all the cracked and broken electrical sockets behind furniture;  and when it was over they cleaned up. The painter Ricardo Cruz has been a professional painter working for companies for 20 years, and is now out on his own. I found him through a realtor who uses him to prepare homes for sale. His  20 year old son Urile  is a part-time student at the community college, and fluent in English, while Ricardo is not, but very easy to talk with and understand. And they had  a third helper who carefully took the electronics apart in the house and re connected everything afterwards - both computers and TVs etc.. I paid $30/hour and the job came in under the estimate. These are very honest guys, I didn't feel like I had to put valuables away, or be anxious that I did not. RIcardo is openly happy when he does perfect work, and when the customer is excited about it. The house interior looks like new and we will use Ricardo again when it comes time to do the exterior.
