I called to set up an appointment  to rewire some switches, and Scott  gave me some  helpful information over the phone and offered to talk me through it later when I had the right switch. As it turned out, his hint was all I needed.  I very much appreciated  his willingness to  provide free advice, instead of a paid service call.  I will call him next time I need an electrician.

We initially contacted a different contractor because Scott couldn't make it for a few days & we were cold. The other guy said we'd probably need a whole new circuit, that he'd have to go through all the lines looking for a short, and that all of our electric appeared to be sub-standard. We didn't believe it since Scott & Roger had done a whole-house safety check and installed a new circuit- the only one still working- a few months ago. When Scott came out, he found the problem & fixed it in less than an hour! It was an old breaker that wasn't connecting properly- it didn't flip to the off position, but it was corroded on the inside surface where it connects with the box. He replaced it & the lights & heat immediately came on. I don't ever want to use another electrician; we now have Powerhouse Electric on speed dial.

This is the second time we've used Powerhouse Electric; Roger Stively was on time, efficient, polite & professional. Many thanks for bringing light to our old dark room!

Scott was great to work with. He put in a new 200A service to the house and fixed the outlets in our bathroom. He was very professional and friendly; our dogs loved him as well.
I plan on using him again as we are remodeling our 1915 home and need to bring it up to code.
Overall he did a fantastic job.

I've used Scott at Powerhouse Electric several times. The company is just him and an apprentice. My last problem, he had me take a picture of the power box and text it to him on his phone. He responded really quickly. I wanted to know if there was space to put a 60amp circuit for an air conditioner. He looked at the picture and said  yes, you've got space. The thing I really enjoy about him is that I like to do things for myself and he was happy to let me pick his brains, so I could, basically, not need him! This is self-defeating from a business perspective but it meant that I called him back when I needed work, something I couldn't do. There are people that are cheaper but I think you pay for quality. He is friendly, which I enjoy. Easy to work with and very helpful.

It turned out pretty good. He was responsive. He came out. It all works. It is one of two quotes I got. His was the most affordable.
