FOWLER ELECTRIC

Our lights were flickering and then parts of the house lost all power.  We called Fowler and they came over the same day.  Showed us the power panel where the breakers were scorched and had carbon deposits.  The electrical box was over 40 years old and no longer considered to code.  Fowler gave us the option of either trying to repair or replace.  He also checked the wires coming from the pole to the house and found the case around the wires had rotted off.  They also noted the gauge of wire and breaker to our AC unit was not correct.  The wire was too small gauge and the breaker was 35 amps instead of 40.  This helped cause the problem with the electrical panel. 

We opted to replace the electrical panel so it was up to date and safe.  Fowler got the old one working in the mean time because they had to work with PG&E to cut power and get permits.  We were told it would take about 3 weeks and that was correct.

They showed up on time and finished on time.  The site was clean and they tested the electrical panel before leaving.  We haven't
