Atmosair Heating & Air Conditioning

The first impression the owner of this company, Clive, leaves you with is that he's nice and earnest about his work. We hired him having gotten his company name from the manufacturer of the boiler for out radiant heating system. On the first job, he stayed until after dark two nights in a row first to diagnose and then to install a new boiler. We were very grateful, having been without heat for weeks. He also did some work to try to regulate a zone that wasn't functioning properly. A couple of weeks after he completed the job, we were having new problems in the zone where he had worked. We called Atmosair half a dozen times over the course of several weeks trying to schedule Clive for a return visit and he never returned our calls. We ended up hiring another company to come out and repair the problem. It also just so happened that the technician sent by the other company had worked for Clive, was a friend, and actually encouraged us to give Clive another chance. It sounded like Atmosair was in transition, Clive had dropped the ball for us and had been too abashed as time went on to return our calls. Stupidly, we did give Clive another chance, accepting a bid from him to install a new central heating system in a property we purchased. His appearance and progress on the project was erratic. He wouldn?t show up when he said he would, appearing several days later to do some more work on the job. When we noticed a leak from the furnace after the installation and a missing vent in one of the floor cuts, he was slow to return my calls, then showed up several days later than he said he would. A month has passed since the job was ?completed? and he never brought the vent, and never returned my call regarding problems with one of the zones.
