The service went really well. They were knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing. The pricing was fair. They gave us a quote; their estimate matched the final price. They also had to install a new high-pressure holding tank. The old one wasn't working and had to be replaced.

Excellent! Arrived exactly on time. Two old toilets (both 5 gpf, both leaking from tank to bowl) removed and taken away. New two-piece low-flow (1.28 gpf) Toto toilets (pre-purchased) were installed, including lids. Work done quickly ( one person, just over 1 hour), efficiently, with everything cleaned up and ready to go when they left. No problems, no fuss, no mess.
Seemed expensive, $130 per hr., but I think this is normal for plumbers.

They did a fantastic job.  The lines were clogged from the old water heaters and they flushed them out so that everything was running well.  The price was unbelievable.  I got two other quotes: one for 2900 and the other for double what Simms cost!  The other guys started stating all the additional stuff that they would need to do that they were including in the cost or comping me for.  Simm's did the work and made things to code without the salesy stuff of the other guys.

Worked with Steve Simms to determine what type of propane system would be best to replace our existing electric hot water heater that was costing us a small fortune each month.  They were knowlegable and honest.  They recomened a great HVAC company to work with to redo the venting to accomidate the new water heater.  Other than not showing up on time, they were honest and great to deal with.

Simms Plumbing has been doing all of our plumbing since we bought this house nine years ago, including servicing our well equipment. They are hands down the best plumbers I've ever found, anywhere - honest, knowledgeable, reliable, and responsive. Anyway, the latest job involved some suspicious rust build-up on a pipe and rust drops on the floor beneath, even though i could never detect any moisture. Simms came out and inspected the pipe, as well as other pipes for good measure, and found a *very* tiny hairline fracture that was causing a slow leak. It took four days for a drop to accumulate! But they got it diagnosed and came back out to replace the portion of pipe that was cracked - an elbow pipe - which involved cutting into the drywall in the ceiling of our garage. As usual, they got the job done quickly and efficiently, and tacked the drywall back very thoroughly so it will hold until the handyman can come to patch it. And all for a very reasonable price. Again, this is par for the course in our dealings with Simms. Well equipment, water heaters, leaky pipes, etc. We won't use anyone else.

They have solved a number of plumbing problems that we have had.  They are very responsive.  They are very good.  They were expensive.  They were very good on responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism.

They are first rate, they work for me all the time. They are very good and very trustworthy. They are very professional, they are well prepared to do any plumbing job. They have been on the coast for at least 30 years, maybe 40. It is an old family company. They do high quality work like home maintenance, but they are also involved with construction sites.
