We got estimates from one other Angies list contractor and decided to use Galen and Jim because they seemed very competent and knowledgeable. The intial contact was with Galen, who is an electrician by trade, which fit right in with one of the key requirements, the installation of a new 220 line for the range. He and Jim showed up on time and had most of the work completed in one day. This included removal of the old appliances to the garage, the line install, install of the new appliances, range hood and backsplash, addition of an electrical box, and trim work. There was one slightly negative experience with the range hood installation, although we played a part in that. They installed it day one and it really was just too high, outside of the installation guidelines, but it seemed ok. After looking at it that evening, we felt it just wasn't right. Jim showed up the next morning and we told him it was too high. He agreed, said not to worry, they would move it down to a spot where we were comfortable with it. Thanks, Jim! Overall, a very positive experience, and we will use them for other projects planned for the future.

They took longer than quoted. There were some issues with them trying to change some work that was agreed upon.

I was very happy with the owners. They did an excellent job. I wasn't very happy with some of their sub-contractors, but the owners made sure their work was done right.

Commode replacement involved Mr. Campbell going to Home Depot and purchasing the toilet then installing it; also flushing out system to remove tree roots. I told him the brand I wanted but he bought a cheaper brand which was not satisfactory and was too large (I am 5 feet tall and my feet do not touch bathroom floor which is not comfortable especialy for someone who has a severe back pain problem. At the end of project Mr. Campbell told me the amount to write the check for but when I asked for a receipt for the work he said he didn't give one! I said I needed a warranty for the commode and he said he could bring one or mail it but never has.

They were very good guys. They came in and fixed everything that people before had messed up. They were very trust worthy. They used subcontractors who were fine as well.

The project took too long. We started to lack confidence that the prices we were being charged for the addons were appropriate.

The contractor/owner Jim, recognized my concern that the new roof be built to "never come off in high winds again." I requested a description of how the construction would be done to prevent this and whether a permit would be required. He did all of the leg work for this and went above and beyond to show me how this roof would be solidly attached versus the previous shoddy construction. His experience in the construction business was evident. The roof is now solid and looks great! He also sent me photos when I had to leave the construction site so I could see the in progress and final work. Jim was great to work with and I will keep his phone number handy for any future projects.

I like this company because they seemed to be real honest and trustworthy. They weren't looking to make any money off of me if it wasn't worth it. They were real respectful and kind. They took their time with their work.

It went superbly. They were very knowledgeable and efficient. They performed the jobs in a professional manner and were able to give considerate and detailed answers to questions I had about their work. Just don't give up on these guys. They are very popular and it may take some time (in my case, 3 days) to get back to your initial call but when they scheduled a time to do the work, they arrived on time and completed the work perfectly and quickly.

They were very friendly and very helpful. Definitely a positive experience and we have already talked to him about further projects with him. I definitely recommend.

They did excellent work, they showed up on time, and they were very polite. They gave us a lot of options. They left no mess, they even cleaned up the paint my husband had left on the floor. They were above and beyond.

Wonderful from start to finish, very easy to work with. Nice guys and great crew.

Reliable, honest and organized!

Jim was very honest, reliable and knowledgeable. He used his time wisely, brought a helper so that he himself could concentrate on helping my huband learn. He taught us both the importance of having a clean serface to work on and being organized.

JIM IS A BIT HARD TO SCHEDULE BECAUSE HE IS VERY GOOD. HE WILL COME AT ODD TIMES TO ACCOMMODATED MY SCHEDULE. HIS WORK IS OF GOOD QUALITY AND THE PRICE IS OK.

JIM IS ALWAYS RELATIVELY AVAILABLE BY CELL PHONE. HE COMES WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME, EVEN THOUGH I KNOW HES VERY BUSY. HE IS RELIABLE AND REPUTABLE. IF THERES ANY PROBLEM WITH SOMETHING HES FIXED, HELL COME BACK AND FIX IT, WITHOUT BEING ASKED TWICE.

GALEN WAS ON TIME AND VERY POLITE. HE WAS HONEST AND LET US KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING AND ALL.
