Our story begins in 2013 when David Kain of Sunboss contracted to do a renovation of our property in Dana Point consisting of a two story exterior deck & patio adding 25% outdoor living space. This project was completed on time and at budget with excellent results. In 2024 we decided to add motorized screens to our downstairs patio as a recreation room. Although we had competing bids, Suboss was our first choice for this project due to their past performance and competitive pricing. They have great people and attention to details. You will not find a more professional company to work with than Sunboss Rooms and Bath.

David and his team did an outstanding job with my backyard. Added an Isola, raised seating area, drop down sun shades and stone work. Best part of all, it all ties in perfectly with my existing backyard features Bravo SunBoss!!

Everything that I wanted for my new bathroom I got . I couldn't believe that it only took 2 days to complete the job. I'm very happy with the work that was done.

We wanted to extend and screen enclose our patio so we could better enjoy sitting outside without those annoying flies pestering us. We decided to hire Sun Boss because of their longevity and reputation in the industry. David Kain from Sun Boss was very thorough in presenting all the options to us. David was also very helpful meeting with our HOA design review committee to offer extension design options that could be approved in our community. Thanks to David's efforts, we did get approval. Our patio roof was extended six feet by twenty-four feet. All the material used is of high quality construction and an attractive appeal sandstone color that coordinated naturally with the color of our house. Donn Stanley from Sun Boss was very dependable. He kept us updated throughout the project in coordinating material delivery, the workload, permits and invoices. David Shelby, Sun Boss installer, was absolutely a true professional and very skilled in the construction of our custom project. He cleaned up at the end of each day (seven days total). David was very meticulous making sure every detail was done correctly. He would always stop to answer any concerns we had during the installation. There were a few minor issues that had to be corrected, however Sun Boss and David Shelby did not hesitate to come back and make it right. We measure a good company not only by a quality product, but also by how well they respond to issues or concerns. Sun Boss definitely provided both with excellent customer service. We are really enjoying our patio now. And, with the positive experience we had, can highly recommend Sun Boss.

My involvement with Sun Boss began with Erik, who came to my home to discuss the available products with me. He told me about the quality materials, history of the company, and the excellent people behind the construction of the rooms. He wasn't wrong. There were no high-pressure sales tactics. He didn't need it. I asked questions and he answered. I signed the contract and gave him the deposit that evening and have no regrets. After thinking about it overnight, I decided on a slightly larger room, so I called Erik. He and Donn Stanley came to my home with a new contract a day or two later. They also measured the yard and house while there. The estimated start date for my project was December. Lucky for me, in November, Donn emailed and asked if it was ok to start soon. Perfect! Well, it's a few days before Christmas and George and Glen just finished my room a little while ago. I love it! George and Glen were always prompt and professional. I felt that they cared about doing a good job on my room and I appreciated that. I never had the impression that they were rushing through the construction, and in a hurry to move to the next project. Their work was outstanding! Kirk did an amazing job on the painting, and float and texture of the exterior house wall. It looks like it was part of the house when it was built several years ago. It's pretty! As they worked, everyone involved left the yard and room clean and organized before leaving for the day. My experience with Sun Boss Corp. has been one that I will repeat to my friends and family. Thank you, Donn, Glenn, and George for answering my numerous questions throughout this process. I'm anxious to get the window treatments and flooring completed soon! We plan to use the room as a reading/writing, exercise, dining, and relaxation room. I'm sure my daughter will also enjoy using it to draw and paint. I don't know the names of the others involved with my room before and during construction, but would like to thank them as well. Thank you, Sun Boss!

Nice stuff, just not what we wanted

They dug up a large section of my yard to use as a base for the concrete slab, replacing it and regrading will be at my expense. They are very quick to raise the price for unforseen problems but unwilling to credit the full amount of a canceled portion of the project. If you are in the Palm Springs area be aware that they are NOT local. All subs are from Riverside. I should have stuck to Craigslist for a lower price from someone local.

Overall they were polite, and efficient. Kept job site clean and if I had any questions, they immediately handled any questions or concerns. They do really nice work. They have really good people working for them.

It was an amazing experience, they were trustworthy, prompt, very communicative..I was in good hands.

Sun Boss exceeded our expectations in all ways with our custom project. In our case we chose the "ImperialWood" insulated patio system and could not be happier. My husband is a fireman with RFD and it was important to us that our addition was safe and strong and that we had the benefits of the insulated panels. They customized our patio so that it is an extension of our living space and we literally use it everyday. From the planning phase to installation to all my questions, Sun Boss was up-front, on-time, and a joy to work with. I am the biggest bargain shopper on earth and I believe that quality is worth hiring the right people for the job. I will say it again: Sun Boss exceeded our expectations. The best bargain is getting it done right the first time, for a great price, by the right people and not having to think about it again, except when you're telling people how happy you are with something.
