For a long time I postponed having my really old--as in original, from 1957--cabinets replaced. Ditto my tile countertops, even when I had to spend hours cleaning the grout. Too many horror stories from friends who had kitchen remodels that took many months, with lots of stops and starts and calling to make sure contractors were coming. With Sligh, I picked the cabinets and countertop, they gave me a date and stuck to it 100 percent. I hired a contractor from their list--CK Builders--and they were wonderful. The whole thing, from visiting the showroom, to getting everything measured, to having the kitchen demoed and having new cabinets, etc. installed, took less than three months. The tear-down and renovation took an unbelievable three weeks!!!! Sligh is phenomenal.

Sligh Cabinets put our cabinets in when we built our home in '99. Recently, 15 years later, our maple hardwood cutting board broke. I dropped the board off at their shop. Two days later I picked up the finished board. They had re-glued, re-sanded and made the board look and feel like new. It fit perfectly into it's slot in the kitchen island. And, there was no charge for the repair!

Very helpful from the moment I walked in. Gave Jack my approx. measurements and he drew a rough sketch of possible drawer and cupboard combinations. Barbara helped pick out style and finish. Installers were on time and efficient. My naturally finished walnut cabinet is beautiful.. No complaints.

Sligh Cabinets does beautiful cabinetry! Deciding on all the elements of a kitchen remodel was very hard and challenging for us, but every aspect, from the initial layout to the finishing touches, was handled very professionally and the outcome shows the prodigious experience which comes with their work. The color matching came out perfect, we gained an amazing amount of cabinet and counter space, the layout is exactly what the kitchen needed, and most of all, they never lost patience with me (not an easy customer). Our kitchen turned out beautiful and the compliments just keep coming. Very nice people to work with!

They are excellent. They are best cabinet makers on the central coast. They take pride in workmanship. They have wonderful staff. Their price is excellent. I would use them again.
