Shandon Electric

Shandon Electric is a one-man operation.  When I talked to him, I thought of him as a strange person.  He has a strange affect.  He came the very next day after we called and went through our house.  We were looking for potential damage from the surge and he did a nice job checking it out.  He coached me as we went through the house.  He gave me a little lesion on electricity of our home.  He only charged us a $50.  I would hire him in a minute.  We had talked to lot of other vendors and he was probably not one of the most professional representatives of any company but he was very good at what he did.  I felt very comfortable with his work.  I felt very at ease learning the things he was telling me.  He was here for about an hour and he told me in the beginning that it would be $50 for the first hour and it was that.  I got a lot of good information from him.  I would not hesitate to call him again if I have electrical problems.  He checked both of the fuse boxes we have and told me that they were set up correctly.  He told me that it would protect us from future surges.  We asked him to look at our outlets to see if the outlets looked like they will be able to sustain any heavy hits again.  He checked that and checked our appliances.  He checked a lot of things for us.  We were not smart in this field and he did things that we weren’t able to do ourselves.  He tutored me and I learned a lot from his visit.  He just really did a fine job.  His price was extremely reasonable.  He didn’t have to coach me but he did that, not because I asked him to, he just volunteered to do that.
