Creative Concrete

I hired Karl and his crew to repair my lower driveway. The written estimate was $1600. He verbally raised the price to $1650, due to the and quot;costand quot; of the concrete. This was supposed to cover 15 feet of my driveway. In reality it covered 11 feet. The old concrete was removed along with some tree roots and some dirt along the side of the driveway, leaving a long hole which was left unfilled and a potential danger to others. Karl wanted to leave the tree roots on the street in front of my house rather then haul them off. When I asked him to put the tree roots in my green waste can, he did, but left the lid sticking way up so I had to rearrange the roots in order for waste management to haul them off. The job he did was done in a few hours and left me with more work to do to make the immediate area around my driveway safe. I feel that Karl did not do a satisfactory job of completing the work and cleanup of the job that I hired him to do. I do not know at this point how the actual concrete that he used will hold up. it is still too soon to evaluate the quality of the material he used, Karl was on time and performed what work he did very quickly. I now have to hire someone else to fill in the large hole that he left.

Very efficient. Got the job done well. I was very pleased. Very professional.
