I took the shoes in; she started working on them the moment they took them in for repair and asked if I wanted to wait. I could see that she was already making good progress removing the insoles, so I stayed and within 10 minutes, the shoes were insole-free. This place is just great. They are very hard working and the prices are unbelievable. I have worn the shoes with my orthotics for the last 2 days and they feel great!

The sole on one of my dress shoes was falling off and this shop repaired it for me. Good work, the sole in place and I don't it'll come off anytime soon. Good prices and good work, will go back again.

I took the shoes in and one of the two very nice women at the front counter had me try them on so that she could mark them for the repair. The shoes were ready when expected. I took them home but found that the strap on one of them was now a little too tight. I took them back, fully expecting to pay for another repair/adjustment, but the woman who did the sewing on the shoes asked if she could try stretching the shoe strap. She did and it fit just fine--and no charge! What nice people and the job was very neat and professional. I would definitely go back. NOTE: THEY HAVE MOVED FROM THEIR FORMER LOCATION ON COLORADO BLVD AND ARE NOW ON LAKE AVE, VERY CLOSE TO THE 210 FWY (South Side).

Needed a pair of high heels to be cleaned, have the strap fixed, and have the heel (sole, i guess) redone. They did it fast, and they look almost brand new.

I was not happy with the work. I put the shoes on, and the insole (maybe the padding underneath) was lumpy and uncomfortable. I took them back twice to have it repaired. They ended up using a press-type device to flatten it out a bit. It wasn't enough, and I had to smooth it out by wearing them (uncomfortably at first).

This place is a good old-fashioned shoe repair place where you can come in, plop your shoes down, sit and read a magazine for a few minutes in the waiting area, and voila, your shoes come back all spiffed up and ready to go. I was prepared for a stiff bill at the end and was pleasantly surprised that they fixed my heels by screwing in new ones in under ten minutes for a few bucks.
