When he was hired he told me it would cost about $30,000 for the entire project and take 6-8 weeks to complete. After 17 weeks, the job wasn't completed and I had already spent almost $50,000. I fired him after having paid this, and found another crew. I hired them individually. I hired a painter to fix the cabinets which were left out by the pool. These got bumps from all the moisture. This required re-sanding and re-finishing. I hired another carpenter to finish the cabinets. Certain parts of the cabinetry had glass doors that were not completed, or done properly. The electrical work was wrong with wires crossed, lights and outlets not working. The licensed electrician fixed this. They also broke my cooktop, half of it works. Several others have looked at this, telling me it would need replaced. Upon installing the granite, they broke a couple of the granite slabs. These were replaced by another individual. I also had to hire a general handyman that finished up all of the little things for me that weren't specialty items. The additional cost, above what I had spent with this company, was $9,000 to fix their problems. To add insult to injury, he is trying to put a lien on my house. I am pursuing this further legally.
