We have a 1931 Tudor house in Pasadena that needed window treatments in the living, dining and laundry rooms. We selected Phillip’s Draperies after a rigorous process of getting quotes from three competing
firms. While the Phillip’s quote came in just above the lowest of the three quotes, our salesperson and residential window treatment designer, Debbie Jett, made all the difference to us. She was prompt, full of great ideas, very accommodating, not pushy at all and thoroughly professional. We changed the specs at the end, she quickly revised the quote and we signed the contract. We put 50% down (Note: other providers require payment in full up front!) and were told there was a six-week turnaround time.
On 9/23/13, Daniel Allen installed the window treatments two weeks ahead of schedule. Daniel is expertly skilled, very precise, and quite pleasant. He spent several hours making sure everything was installed perfectly. Debbie had measured all treatments accurately. The heights and widths were correct, treatments in both the living room and dining room were installed at the same height visually creating a horizontal line across the two rooms, all hardware is secure, and the roman shades rise and fall as they are designed to do.
Daniel then set up the draperies to be “trained” for the next three days to hold their folds and fall correctly over the course of time. We just are stunned at how beautiful the treatments look! We keep doing double takes as we walk by them. We are so happy!
Phillip’s Draperies is very efficient and all components of our order were made locally. The roman shades come from a local manufacturer (in Covina, we believe), the draperies are made expertly by hand directly at
Phillip’s shop and the iron hardware comes from North Hollywood. We even made a trip to see the wrought iron hardware at the manufacturer’s showroom just to make sure we made the right choices. To be sure, we are not easy clients . . .  
Phillip’s Draperies has provided both residential and commercial window treatments since 1947. That’s over 66 years of experience for which there is no substitute! There are multiple reasons for their success, but
in particular, Debbie Jett, is just superb. Even the wrought iron manufacturer independently recommended her to us prior to our contract with Phillip’s Draperies. We’ve been told that other designers call for her help, too. There is no reason to shop anywhere else. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll be calling them again in
the near future. Thanks for a job well done, Phillip’s!  

THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE. THEY DO VERY GOOD WORK. THEY WERE THE CHEAPEST QUOTE. THEY HAD DONE SOME WORK FOR A PREVIOUS HOUSE WE LIVED IN, AND THE WORK WAS GREAT THERE AS WELL.
