I have a very old home (built in about 1923). The hardware in my home is original. The lock that needed repair is prominently displayed on my front door. I thought I was going to have to spend a small fortune to fix the old one or buy a new one that would not match the age of my home. Fortunately the gentleman who came to fix it (I believe he was the owner) was polite, well spoken, and very knowledgeable about old hardware in old homes. It took him less than 30 minutes to diagnose and repair the problem.
