We love our contractor!!!! I've remodeled/renovated various homes (condos and houses)
since the '80s and I have never--I mean NEVER--had a renovation experience like
the one my husband and I recently had, remodeling a bedroom and bathroom with
Alfred and his crew at Navarro Construction. Alfred came out numerous times for
estimates of various remodeling options we were considering; went to the city
to check out issues; worked with another consultant we asked him to check
with--always cheerfully and coming back with realistic advice we could believe
in. When we finally got down to the reno, it turned out to be a time-crunch
situation for us, which Alfred also met cheerfully. To make a long story short:
he and his crew were on site everyday at 7am, never leaving until the work for
that day was complete (usually after dark). They were perfectionistic,
creative, able to solve every problem imaginable, incredibly neat and amazingly
unobtrusive. Our job was completed in TWO weeks, PERFECTLY, precisely (to the
dollar) for the $ we had agreed on--WITH a fully detailed and itemized
agreement set out at the get-go. THERE IS NO CONTRACTOR MORE PROFESSIONAL THAN
NAVARRO. We had a no-stress reno, and that is unheard of in this industry.
Importantly, I had chosen Navarro because they had done the major
(multi-million-dollar) renovation of the school where I work, and that HUGE job
was also done perfectly, on-time, and in the most buttoned-down fashion
imaginable. It's wonderful that Alfred and his team attack a little bathroom
and guest bedroom project with the same zeal and conscientiousness of an
institutional project. I cannot say enough about Navarro (obviously) except
that I pray they will not be too busy to work on our next project or home! We
love you, Alfred (and crew)! xoxox
